More On The Rumors Of WWE Signing Top Women's Wrestler From Japan

- As noted, it's rumored that WWE has signed 33 year old Japanese women's wrestler Kanna, who was shown on screen at ringside with Ric Flair and Sgt. Slaughter during NXT "Takeover: Brooklyn" on Saturday night.

The rumors started from Japanese wrestling news reporter Enuhito, who recently had some news on Jushin "Thunder" Liger working NXT. He noted that WWE signed her a few weeks back. It was also said that she did not work the WWE tryouts at Sumo Hall this summer but WWE did get a look at her beforehand.

It should be noted that she normally spells her name Kana with one "n" but WWE spelled it as "Kanna" at Takeover, which could be a sign that she is signed.

It's also worth noting that back in July, Kanna announced she was taking an indefinite hiatus from the ring as she wanted to try something new after wrestling for more than 10 years. She then dismissed rumors she was pregnant and later made the appearance for WWE this weekend.
