Ronda Rousey's Mom Posts Cryptic Tweets, Responds To Fans Who Think It's About Ronda

Ronda Rousey is always in the headlines, whether it be mixed martial arts, professional wrestling, or Hollywood. Of late, however, her mother has been getting quite a bit of attention.

Rousey's mother, former Judo World Champion AnnMaria DeMars, was in the news this week following controversial statements regarding Rousey's coach, Edmond Taverdyan. DeMars ripped Taverdyan publicly, saying that he was a terrible coach, an that she'd run over him if it weren't illegal.

Rousey has also been in the middle of a controversy surrounding her personal life, as she's in a relationship with UFC fighter Travis Browne, who was accused of domestic abuse allegations by his estranged wife. Browne was cleared of any wrongdoing in an independent investigation headed by a former FBI agent.

DeMars had posted several words of advice, using the hashtag #AdviceFromMom, which appeared to relate to Rousey's situation. This led to fans and media suspecting that DeMars was speaking out against Rousey's new boyfriend.

DeMars followed up on Twitter by saying that she had four daughters, and not every post she makes applies to Ronda. You can see several of the tweets below. DeMars is also heavily involved in the promotion for Rousey's next fight, as she's featured in the UFC 193 trailer.
