TUF 19 winner Eddie Gordon was cut from the UFC after three straight losses, putting an exclamation point on one of the worst male seasons in the shows history. Christos Giagos, Chris Clements and Roger Narvaez joined him.

Matt Van Buren claims he was released by the UFC after turning down a fight with his teammate. He said on Twitter that his coach asked him to reject the fight, and that he was subsequently released.

A couple of weeks ago, the UFC started their aggressive cuts by releasing Jorge Oliveira, Nazareno Malegarie, Elias Silverio, and Ramsey Nijem, who was the most high profile cut of the round. Nijem went 5-5 in the UFC, but had lost four times in his last 6 bouts.

Perhaps the highest profile release of the month has been Marcus Brimage. The 30 year old Bantamweight was 4-4 in the UFC, but was 1-4 in his last five fights. After a loss to Conor McGregor in 2013, Brimage's UFC career went downhill.

We'll keep you updated on any additional cuts the UFC makes, as they undergo a pretty substantial roster change.
