Kevin Owens Makes Surprise Appearance At NXT Show In Milwaukee (Video)
Former NXT Champion Kevin Owens made a shocking surprise return to NXT on Thursday night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, after several months away from the brand.
Owens interrupted rival Sami Zayn, saying that the Turner Hall Ballroom was the best place to wrestle at. Owens said that he had arranged for his last indy date to be there, but due to circumstances beyond his control, it didn't happen, which is why he showed up on Thursday.
Owens then ran down Zayn, saying that the fact that the Milwaukee crowd cheered him made him change his mind about how much he liked the venue. Owens said that Vince McMahon personally picked him to face Roman Reigns on Monday, and probably doesn't know who Zayn is.
The villanous Owens dared Zayn to hit him, which resulted in a giant Helluva Kick that sent Owens packing. Zayn, fresh off a victory over Tommaso Ciampa, celebrated before leaving.
