- As noted, Cody Rhodes revealed via his personal Twitter that he has requested his release from WWE. While no WWE Superstars have commented as of this writing, former WWE announcer Kyle Edwards (Arda Ocal) gave Cody props and Stardust rival Stephen Amell also weighed in, which was re-tweeted by Cody's wife Eden.
