Backstage News On WWE Changing Plans For Luke Harper

Luke Harper returned to television this week after dislocating his patella and tearing his MPFL ligament this past March. He was cleared to return to action last month.

As noted, Harper worked last week's RAW live events in South America and was expected to be a part of the RAW brand. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio this week that those plans changed after Erick Rowan was injured. Harper was then moved to the SmackDown brand to take Rowan's role.

Rowan recently underwent surgery for a torn rotator cuff. It appears as if he may be tweaking his character when he returns, as he posted the video below of himself burying his sheep mask.
