GCW Fight Club 2022 Night Two Results (10/9): Joey Janela Vs. Cole Radrick For The DDT And GCW Extreme Titles

Night One took place last night on the Garden Pier in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and saw Nick Gage defeat Jon Moxley in a Title vs. Career match to become the new GCW World Champion. Gage did not conquer Moxley alone, as All Elite Wrestling's W. Morrissey interfered in the bout, sending the reigning AEW World Champion through a pane of glass that was wrapped in barbed wire. After the incident, Gage delivered two piledrivers and a chokebreaker to win the gold. 

The second night of Fight Club 2022, taking place at the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City, will see the DDT Extreme Championship and GCW Extreme Championship be defended in the same match as Joey Janela and Cole Radrick collide.

New GCW World Champion Nick Gage Appears, Scramble Match

- Nick Gage, who became the new GCW World Champion last night after defeating Jon Moxley, headed to the ring. Gage thanked the fans. Gage said that he was a fighting champion. The new champion issued an open challenge to anyone in the locker room to come and get the title. Sawyer Wreck headed to the ring to accept. Alec Price also headed down to the ring and got in the face of Gage. Lio Rush next emerged through the curtain. Rush grabbed Gage's microphone and said he deserved the opportunity. Shane Mercer next headed down to the ring. Axton Ray and Dustin Waller followed. A scramble match was immediately announced.

Sawyer Wreck vs. Alec Price vs. Lio Rush vs. Shane Mercer vs. Axton Ray vs. Dustin Waller in a scramble match

After all six competitors went to war, Mercer and Rush collided in the middle of the ring. Ray, Price, and Waller all took dives to the outside. Wreck grabbed a chair and sat in the center of the ring. Waller returned to the ring to tangle with Wreck. Wreck used the chair as a weapon on Waller. Waller eventually returned and sent Ray face-first into the canvas. Price connected with a big boot on Waller. Rush and Price went toe-to-toe. Wreck returned and chokeslammed Rush and Price. Wreck attempted to chokeslam Mercer. Waller planted Mercer on his head. Rush hit a bottom rope stunner and frog splash combination on Price to win.

Blake Christian vs. Shun Skywalker, Gringo Loco vs. Masha Slamovich

Blake Christian vs. Shun Skywalker

Christian teased returning to the locker room due to the negative fan reaction. Christian powered Skywalker down to the canvas using the wrist. Skywalker managed to reverse. The pace of the match picked up, but Christian and Skywalker reached a stalemate. Skywalker launched Christian into the ropes with a monkey flip. Skywalker grounded Christian with a submission to the left arm on the canvas. Christian eventually turned the tables and registered a near-fall. Christian took control of the match and interacted with the audience.

Christian and Skywalker traded shots in the center of the ring. Skywalker turned Christian inside out with a big kick from the corner of the ring. Skywalker delivered a Falcon Arrow, but Christian kicked out of the cover that followed. Christian sent Skywalker to the outside with a kick to the head and took him out on the floor with an Arabian press. Back in the ring, Christian and Skywalker exchanged forearms. Skywalker planted Christian into the mat three times, but it wasn't enough to finish Christian off. Christian hit a combination of moves and won the match with a springboard 450 splash. 

Winner: Blake Christian via pinfall

Gringo Loco vs. Masha Slamovich

Slamovich attempted to get in the head of Loco as the match got underway. Loco powered Slamovich down to the mat. Slamovich took Loco down with a combination of kicks. Slamovich sent Loco to the outside with a headscissors and then connected with a DDT to the floor. Loco replied by delivering a suplex to Slamovich on the hard wooden floor. Loco took control as the action returned to the ring. Loco hit a Styles Clash, but Slamovich got her shoulder up during the pin attempt that followed. Slamovich rallied to take Loco down once again. Loco and Slamovich went back-and-forth, trading pinfall attempts. Slamovich landed a Destroyer and piledriver combination on Loco to win the match.

Title vs. Title

Joey Janela (c) vs. Cole Radrick (c) for the DDT Extreme Championship and GCW Extreme Championship

The match began with both men trading punches to the face. Janela and Radrick then began to trade chops to the chest in the center of the ring. Janela and Radrick were sent down at the same time after colliding with a double clothesline. Radrick performed a moonsault on the outside. Radrick sent a wooden door into the ring. Janela punished Radrick on the outside. Radrick replied and sent a ladder into the ring. Radrick sat Janela on a chair. Radrick connected with a kick to Janela after riding on a scooter from the opposite side of the venue.

Back in the ring, Radrick continued to work on Janela. Janela replied and sent Radrick into the ladder. "The Bad Boy" set up the wooden door on top of two chairs. Radrick managed to put Janela through the door with a moonsault from the middle rope. Janela remained in the fight and delivered a Tombstone to Radrick. Janela smashed a chair on Radrick. Janela set up four chairs in the center of the ring. Radrick planted Janela on the chairs with a Little Sebastian's Curse. 

Another wooden door was set up on top of two chairs. Janela sent Radrick through the door with a DDT from the top turnbuckle. Janela placed the door on top of Radrick and connected with a double stomp, but Radrick continued to kick out of Janela's pin attempts. Radrick fired back. Janela caught him in the head with a superkick. Radrick fought back once again and sent Janela crashing through a chair. Radrick hit a superplex from the top, but Janela caught Radrick in a cradle to win.

Bussy vs. Jordan Oliver and Nick Wayne, Mike Bailey vs. YAMATO

Jordan Oliver and Nick Wayne vs. Allie Katch and Effy

Oliver and Effy started the match as the legal competitors. Effy knocked Oliver down with a shoulder tackle. Wayne and Katch tagged into the match. Wayne connected with headscissors to send Katch to the floor. Wayne and Oliver sent Effy to the floor before working together on Katch in the ring. Katch made the tag to Effy. Effy speared both Wayne and Oliver at the same time. Katch tagged in again. Bussy worked together as Effy connected with a Doomsday Zack Ryder on Wayne.

Effy once again became the legal competitor and continued to punish Wayne. Wayne replied by landing a cutter on Effy. Oliver managed to tag back into the match. Katch and Oliver countered each other's moves. Wayne tagged in again. The match broke down as all four competitors traded moves. Oliver and Wayne worked together again on Katch. Wayne landed a Swanton Bomb on Katch, but it wasn't enough to win the match. Katch fired back. Charles Mason entered the ring and took Katch down with a lariat. Mason took out piano wire and choked Katch. The referee called for the bell.

Winners: No contest

Mike Bailey vs. YAMATO

Both men had a feeling out process as the match got underway. The aggression increased as YAMATO sent Bailey down with a powerful shoulder tackle. Bailey used his speed and connected with a strike to the chest of YAMATO. On the floor, both competitors traded chops to the chest. The fight continued around the ringside area. As the action returned to the ring, Bailey had the advantage. Bailey locked in a leg submission and prevented YAMATO from making it to the ropes. YAMATO eventually got his hand on the bottom rope.

Bailey connected with a series of kicks, but YAMATO replied with a big lariat. Bailey hits a running kick and once again gains the advantage. Bailey repeatedly kicks YAMATO in the chest. YAMATO takes Bailey off his feet with a combination of strikes to the face. YAMATO and Bailey traded blows in the center of the ring. YAMATO delivered a brainbuster to Bailey. Bailey took YAMATO out on the floor. Back in the ring, Bailey remained in control until YAMATO landed a sleeper suplex. YAMATO locked in another sleeper and delivered an inverted driver to win. 

Winner: YAMATO via pinfall 

It was revealed that Allie Katch was receiving medical treatment backstage due to the earlier attack from Charles Mason.

Miedo Extremo vs. Drew Parker, Six-Man Tag Team Action

Miedo Extremo vs. Drew Parker in a deathmatch for the King of Freedoms Championship

Extremo was sporting a shoulder protector after dislocating his shoulder last night. Extremo was sent to the outside. Parker dived over the top rope to take him out. Parker picked up some darts and threw them in the back of Extremo. Back in the ring, Parker stuck a metal plate in the forehead of Extremo. Extremo caught Parker in the middle of the ring and sent him through a pane of glass in the corner. Extremo stuck a metal plate in the forehead of Parker.

Extremo took charge of the match, but Parker responded by drilling Extremo into the canvas. Parker stacked two doors outside the ring. Extremo sent Parker over the top rope through the doors. As the action returned to the ring, Extremo missed a high-flying move. Parker took advantage and placed Extremo on top of a door at ringside. Parker headed to the top turnbuckle and delivered a Swanton Bomb. Extremo immediately got to his feet and both men exchanged blows. In the ring, Parker connected with a DDT. Parker set up a pane of glass on two chairs above Extremo. Parker delivered another Swanton Bomb through the glass. Parker smashed a bundle of tubes into Extremo with his knee to win.

After the match, Extremo told Parker he would like another match when he is one hundred percent. 

Jimmy Lloyd, Dyln McKay, and Marcus Mathers vs. The Second Gear Crew (1 Called Manders, Mance Warner, and Matthew Justice)

Manders attacked Lloyd, McKay, and Mathers as the bell rang. The fight spilled all over the ringside area. The Second Gear Crew Split Screen was used to track all the action. Warner punished Mathers with a steel chair. Justice and Manders set up a barbed wire door. Mathers placed Warner's head in the barbed wire. Lloyd used a door on a busted open Warner as the chaos continued. In the ring, Warner sent Lloyd through a door with a superplex from the top. McKay put Manders through a door at ringside. 

Lloyd, McKay, and Mathers worked together to take out Warner. Justice returned just in time to break up a pin attempt. Justice loosened up the ring ropes. Mathers was sent through the barbed wire door on the outside by Warner and Manders. Lloyd was tied up in the ropes. Justice repeatedly smashed a chair over the head of Lloyd. McKay was thrown through a door on the floor. Mathers, despite the odds, took the fight to all three members of the Second Gear Crew. Manders stopped Mathers in his tracks. A big ladder was brought to the ring. Mathers was placed on a door in the ring as Justice climbed the ladder. McKay climbed up the ladder behind Justice. Justice drove McKay onto Mathers through the door from the ladder to win.

GCW Ultraviolent Championship

Rina Yamashita (c) vs. Ciclope for the GCW Ultraviolent Championship

Ciclope offered a handshake, but changed his mind and instead flipped the bird at Yamashita. After an initial feeling out process, both competitors picked up a light tube. Ciclope used a busted tube on the forehead of Yamashita. Ciclope brought a ladder to the ring. Ciclope and Yamashita went back-and-forth at ringside. Ciclope delivered a suplex to the champion on the wooden floor.

Back in the ring, Ciclope stomped Yamashita's face into a light tube. Ciclope followed it up with a piledriver in the center of the ring. Yamashita responded by suplexing Ciclope on a pile of chairs. Yamashita had Ciclope on her shoulders and sent him through a pane of glass from the apron. Ciclope took Yamashita down with a spinebuster. Ciclope set up the ladder in the corner. Yamashita grabbed the testicles of Ciclope, but he responded by giving the champion a kiss. Ciclope then shattered a light tube into Yamashita's midsection with a dropkick. 

Ciclope climbed the ladder. Yamashita followed him up. Both competitors fought for the advantage on the ladder. Ciclope delivered a superplex from the ladder. The challenger followed up by sending Yamashita into some tubes in the corner of the ring. Ciclope smashed tubes over the head of Yamashita. After driving one another into the canvas, both competitors collided with tubes in hand. Ciclope and Yamashita traded barbed wire forearms. Yamashita took Ciclope down with a barbed wire lariat. The champion drove Ciclope into the mat again, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Yamashita powerbombed Ciclope through a bundle of tubes and made the challenger submit after applying barbed wire to the face.
