Randy Orton Once Ripped A Urinal Off A Bathroom Wall In Front Of Cody Rhodes

Over his lengthy career, Randy Orton developed a reputation for being something of a "wild child." In recent years, however, Orton has begun to turn that attitude around, instead solidifying himself as a family man and respected veteran that younger talent can turn to for advice. Orton has previously opened up about how the ways in which he's changed, but the stories about his notorious youth will likely stay around for many years to come.

One particular story that stands out originates from one of the early meetings between Orton and fellow WWE star Cody Rhodes. The tale takes place during a mid-2000s WWE tour in South Africa, just a short time after Rhodes was first called up from developmental to the main roster.

"The first time I saw Randy, we were in Cape Town, South Africa, at the TV hotel for that tour," Rhodes said. "I walk by the men's bathroom, and he had his hands around the urinal. He goes, 'Hey Code, look at this.' And he yanked the entire urinal out of the wall." Rhodes described the act as a feat of superhuman strength, and claims that Orton giggled as water poured out from the wall and into the bathroom.

One 'Rib' After Another

While that seems outrageous enough on its own, it's what Orton did at a talent meeting the following day that caused Rhodes to crack.

"[We] had this big talent meeting the next day," Rhodes continued. "'Hey, there were security cameras, guys. We want to know who did it.' [Randy] walked up in front of everybody and said, 'Hey! I want to know who did it!'" Rhodes said that, despite these antics, Orton was still a great teacher during this period of time.

Though it seems Orton has genuinely changed his controversial behavior, Rhodes is still intent on bringing out the wild side of "The Viper" when he can. "I was told that Randy is a family man, and doesn't get in trouble, and I won't have it," Rhodes said. "I'm going to try to set some traps, some things to see if I can get him back. Because that was important — Randy freaking out was a big part of my life. ... I need him there, and I don't think I'm going to get him there, but I'm going to try."
