WWE's Karrion Kross Shares Cryptic Message About 'True Evil'
Karrion Kross competed at a WWE live event in Laredo, Texas, earlier today, and he shared some footage of his entrance. What's more, the post includes an ominous message about the nature of evil.
"An old preacher once told me true evil always enters through the shadows," Kross cryptically wrote on X (formerly Twitter). "A good man always lights a candle when he's in the dark. Never realizing that to light a candle...Is to cast a shadow."

The video from the live event sees the former WWE "NXT" Champion enter the arena alongside his wife — and fellow Superstar — Scarlett Bordeaux. Meanwhile, the end of Kross's caption is a quote from iconic fantasy writer Ursula K. Le Guin, best known for her book "The Left Hand of Darkness," as well as being an influence on Neil Gaiman.
Kross was initially signed by WWE in 2020, where he found great success on "WWE NXT" before floundering on the main roster and being released in 2021. Kross returned to WWE at the end of last summer, following Paul "Triple H" Levesque's ascension to WWE Chief Content Officer in the wake of the brief ousting of Vince McMahon. Despite returning to the promotion with great ceremony, Kross hasn't been a regularly featured superstar on WWE television. Kross recently spoke about his frustrations with his position in WWE since returning to the company, noting that he wants to reach his full potential and allow people to see his best work as a performer.
