Becky Lynch Retains NXT Women's Title On WWE Raw In First Of Back-To-Back Defenses

Just like she did two weeks ago, Becky Lynch has once again successfully retained her "NXT" Women's Championship on "WWE Raw" — this time against former "NXT" Women's Champion Indi Hartwell. Lynch won the match after making Hartwell tap out to the Dis-Arm-Her. It was the first-ever match between Lynch and Hartwell had been in a singles match, though both participated in the 2023 Women's Royal Rumble. Lynch has been the "NXT" Women's Champion since the September 12 episode of "WWE NXT," when she defeated Tiffany Stratton.

Despite her victory, Lynch's immediate title troubles aren't over by any stretch. 24 hours after the win over Hartwell, "The Man" will defend her title again Tuesday's special episode of "NXT" — Night One of Halloween Havoc — against Lyra Valkyria. Lynch's fellow Irishwoman had to defeat both Hartwell and Roxanne Perez on the October 3 episode of "NXT" for the right to Tuesday's title shot. Valkyria was also in the "Raw" crowd on Monday, and Lynch took the time to acknowledge her next challenger following the win.
