Ex-UFC Star Nate Diaz Wants Jake Paul Rematch In MMA

Former UFC fighter Nate Diaz is over two-and-a-half years removed from his major boxing match with Jake Paul, where the former social media star defeated Diaz via unanimous decision after ten rounds of action. However, Diaz still feels like he has unfinished business with Paul, especially given that Diaz played to Paul's strength of competing in boxing, and that Paul needs to get himself in a pair of 12oz gloves and get in a cage with him.

Diaz and fellow ex-UFC fighter Chris Avila were guests on a recent episode of Theo Von's "This Past Weekend" where Von asked if Diaz still wants an MMA fight with Paul in the near future, to which The Ultimate Fighter Season Five winner gave a resounding yes.

"What do you think I'm doing here? I'm on the hunt, I'm going to take his a** clean out," Diaz said. "I got to fight [Mike] Perry, get through the fight [with him] who's a really big task at hand, and then we get the Paul fight...we'll see. Time will tell though." Von noted that Paul has claimed to have an eye for wanting an MMA fight at some point, to which Diaz said, "I know he says that, that's what he says. We'll see. I think he will though, I'm just saying...what do they say? Project it into f****** existence, he does that good, so yeah, I think he will."

Many people thought that Paul would have made his MMA debut at some point over the past few years given that he signed a multi-year deal with the PFL in 2023. However, that contract expired at the start of this year, with Paul never stepping into a cage during that time.
