AEW Dynamite Viewership & Ratings Report, 4/1/2026

The April 1 edition of "AEW Dynamite" saw the return of one of its originals, and the rest of the stars continued to speed toward the company's next pay-per-view, Dynasty, fast approaching on Sunday, April 12. While viewership for the show still averaged well over 700,000, it dipped slightly from the previous week's edition of the show.

According to Wrestlenomics, with data from Programming Insider, the April 1 episode of "Dynamite" averaged 730,000 viewers, down five percent from the March 25 episode's 765,000 viewers. The latest edition of the show earned a 0.15 rating in the ever-important ages 18-49 demographic, which was up seven percent from the previous week. "Dynamite" was sixth on cable for the night, and cable news shows ranked high on Wednesday, coinciding with President Trump's address.

Compared to April 2025, "Dynamite" is up 21 percent in viewership, with last year's average coming in at 605,000. In terms of the rating, "Dynamite" is down six percent from the April 2025 average of 0.16.

The April 1 episode of "Dynamite" saw the return of Chris Jericho in the opening moments of the show, as commentator Tony Schiavone was attempting to introduce the AEW World Championship contract signing between MJF and Kenny Omega. That contract would eventually get signed, and the segment also led to a main event match pitting MJF against "Speedball" Mike Bailey, where the champion emerged victorious.

Elsewhere on the show, Will Ospreay defeated PAC and The Brawling Birds and Mina Shirakawa beat the Triangle of Madness. A new match for Dynasty was made when Don Callis revealed Andrade El Idolo will take on Darby Allin, and if Allin wins, he earns a shot at MJF.
