UFC 327: Jiri Prochazka Vs. Carlos Ulberg Live Results
Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s live coverage of UFC 327, headlined by Jiri Prochazka versus Carlos Ulberg for the Light Heavyweight Championship.
Tonight's event airs from the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, and pits the former champion in Prochazka against the 14-1 Ulberg to determine who inherits the title vacated by Alex Pereira. Pereira will be challenging for the Interim Heavyweight title at Freedom 250 at the White House in June, with the first look at that set-up due to be shown tonight and President Trump scheduled to be in the building at some stage.
The co-main event will also see light heavyweight action between the undefeated Azamat Murzakanov and Paul Costa. Prior to that willl be heavyweight action between Curtis Blaydes and Josh Hokit, further light heavyweight action between Dominick Reyes and Johnny Walker, and featherweight action between retiring veteran Cub Swanson and Nate Landwehr.
The main card is due to begin at 9 PM ET and will be available to watch on Paramount+ and CBS Live in the US, as well as TNT Sports and UFC Fight Pass internationally.

Cub Swanson vs. Nate Landwehr - Featherweight Three Rounds
Round one begins and Cub Swanson throws the first jabs and an attempted leg kick. Nate Landwehr comes back with a kick to the leading leg but both are fairly hesitant to begin with.
Swanson connects with a little more stinging calf kick and both continue to feel one another out with the jab and feints. Swanson is visibly looking for an opening, comes forward with a solid right overhand and then a quick flurry to send Landwehr into retreat. Swanson puts together a left jab to the head followed by a stinging right to the body, comes through with two more flurries and puts Landwehr on his rear.
Landwehr now coming forward but Swanson runs through him with punches to floor him twice, the stand-up resuming against the cage and Swanson more than happy to stalk and strike. Swanson drops Landwehr once more with a solid right to the jaw, no need to follow up as the referee comes between them to end the fight.

Swanson leaves his gloves in the middle of the Octagon to end his career on a high. He gets a highlight package to celebrate his tenure going back to WEC.
Dominick Reyes vs. Johnny Walker - Light Heavyweight Three Rounds
Round one begins and both men are looking to establish themselves, Johnny Walker throwing some great outside kicks followed by an impressive capoeira kick from Dominick Reyes that doesn't land. Walker continues to mark the leading leg with kicks, feinting as he comes forward and playing patty-cake on Reyes' gloves.
Reyes throws a head kick which slides past Walker's head. Walker stings the leg again with a leg kick and continues to tease an upstairs shot to the cautious Reyes. Walker catches a receipt as he tries to come forward and goes back to the outside to re-assess. Reyes keeps the distance with a front kick to the body. Round one comes to an end rather tamely.
Round two begins with both fighters continuing to use the range with kicks to the legs and body. Both fighters spend much of the next couple of minutes dancing back-and-forth, throwing kicks and trying to find a spot. The crowd chants "This is boring/bulls***" in response. Boos start to build as the pair continue to feel one another out. Walker wakes the crowd up with a slapping head kick and grapples Reyes against the cage. Reyes defends it and it's back to feeling each other out with the ten-second slapper. The round ends with boos raining down.
Round three begins and once more it is a cautious game of finding space. Walker throws a few head kicks that touch glove-to-head, but the crowd continues to be more active than the fighters in voicing their distaste. Reyes has landed less than 30 shots in this fight. Walker landed 17 in the first round but has not got out of double digits since then.
The air between the fighters is absorbing the most thrown shots with less than a minute to go. Walker slips on a kick as the fight comes to an end.

Curtis Blaydes vs. Josh Hokit - Heavyweight Three Rounds
Round one begins with Josh Hokit coming forward with punches as Curtis Blaydes goes for the takedown, defended well as Blaydes goes for a solid jab. But then Hokit unloads with shots that wobble Blaydes and the pair just seem to open up. Blaydes is on jelly legs as Hokit gets the better of things matching one-for-two.
Blaydes gets a takedown and is just bleeding all over Hokit's back. Hokit gets back to his feet and the stand-up resumes, Blaydes gets another takedown. Hokit gets back to his feet but remains against the cage with Blaydes in the waist control.
Blaydes wobbles Hokit now with a jab and chases to knock out. Hokit is just absorbing shots and trying to punch his way out of it, and Blaydes goes for the clinch against the cage. Blaydes continues to work the body in the clinch. Hokit flips the bird at Blaydes and laughs. Blaydes comes forward with punches and elbows. Hokit is wobbly and glassy-eyed but the round comes to an end.
Round two begins and Hokit lands a right overhand to the chin as he comes forward. Blaydes shoots for the takedown but Hokit defends it and flips him off again. Hokit continues to come forward just absorbing shots as he returns a huge shot to further bust Blaydes open. Hokit goes to the body now as Blaydes come forward with an uppercut, Hokit just continues coming forward.
In the clinch Hokit is watching the clock after exchanging uppercuts. Hokit backs Blaydes up with two more right straights and chases, Blaydes tries to fight back but Hokit opens up and lights him. Hokit might have punched himself out as Blaydes now comes forward, both men are wobbling and flailing at the same time and head into another clinch. Blaydes now working the body with uppercuts, goes upstairs for a pair. Hokit connects with a clinch-knee to the nose, swings and misses with an uppercut as Blaydes gets one on the money.
Hokit lands and then Blaydes lands and then Hokit lands again as the round comes to an end.
Round three begins with Hokit opening up and Blaydes coming back with an accurate kick to the outside of the knee. Blaydes gets a lot more offense in with the clinch, matching elbows with shots to the body. They continue to match shot-for-shot with little blocking, Hokit finally comes forward with a clinch and gets some more shots in. Blaydes is well busted open and swollen by now, Hokit fatigued but far less damaged.
Hokit lands three in quick succession but Blaydes comes forward again. Blaydes now looks at the clock after another constant exchange. Hokit now comes forward and tries for some knees and elbows, and the fight comes to end with Blaydes and Hokit just swinging on one another.

Azamat Murzakanov vs. Paulo Costa - Light Heavyweight Three Rounds
Round one begins and Paulo Costa sinks Azamat Murzakanov with an inside leg kick momentarily. They continue to feel each other out and Costa hits another inside leg kick. Murzakanov comes forward with a seeking left, Costa catches him with a stinging body kick and Murzakanov catches a follow-up, connects with a jab to the body, followed by another sweeping left to the body.
Costa goes for another inside leg kick, goes to the outside for another one, and follows up with another to the body. Murzakanov with a left overhand but an official time out is called for a Costa eyepoke on Murzakanov.
The fight resumes and Murzakanov is coming forward, walking through an outside leg kick and a kick to the body but only getting a knee and another kick for it. Costa throws another strong right and a leg kick that stumbles Murzakanov. Murzakanov tries to come forward but stumbles to the mat after getting caught with a straight, Costa mounts him and has him cut around his eye. They get back to the feet and Murzakanov punches his way out of it as the round comes to an end.
Round two begins and again Murzakanov comes forward with Costa leaning back and hanging behind kicks and jabs. Murzakanov throws a kick upstairs that glances Costa. Costa with another two inside leg kicks. Two big body shots from Murzakanov on Costa against the cage, and now Costa's open-mouthed searching for breath. Costa connects with another kick to the body but Murzakanov sends him back with two more lefts. Murzakanov wobbles Costa with a left overhand.
Costa comes forward and eats a left hook, gets thrown off after going for the clinch, and eats another left to the body against the cage. Murzakanov throws Costa down to the ground and cinches in a side headlock, but Costa fights up to his feet and grapples Murzakanov against the cage. Costa cracks open Murzakanov's nose with a knee in the clinch as the round comes to an end.
Round three begins and Costa looks refreshed, connecting kicks with punches to the body. Murzakanov continues to come forward but appears more hesitant than before. Murzakanov has hurt his left arm from defending the kicks, holding it every time he throws a shot. Costa throws another kick to the head and Murzakanov drops to the mat, the referee calls the fight.

Costa immediately goes over to Trump. "You're too beautiful to be a fighter," Trump says to him. He thanks the President. Dana White congratulates Costa on his win.
Costa thanks Trump, Mick Maynard, Hunter Campbell, and White in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan.
Donald Trump Jr. is shown in the crowd as well as Jon Jones alongside Gable Steveson. It's announced that Steveson has signed with UFC.
Jiri Prochazka vs. Carlos Ulberg - Light Heavyweight Championship Five Rounds
Round one begins with Jiri Prochazka bouncing and looking for space as Carlos Ulberg throws the low kicks. Prochazaka throws a low kick himself before getting another one back.
Prochazka comes forward and Ulberg slips twice under not much resistance. Ulberg appears to have hurt his right knee. Prochazka hits a low kick to make use of the injury, and Ulberg is moving gingerly on it. Ulberg throws a left head kick and his right leg just buckles. Prochazka is jabbing and happy to keep this in the stand up. But it comes back to bite him as Ulberg comes back with a left hook dropping him to the mat. Ulberg seizes upon Prochazka and knocks him out cold to win the Championship. The replay shows something pop in Ulberg's knee, meaning he could have just won the title with a torn cruciate ligament.
