WWE Raw Results 4/20 - Roman Reigns To Appear On Raw After WrestleMania
Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s live coverage of "WWE Raw" on April 20, emanating from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Tonight marks the fallout from WrestleMania 42, a night proven by history as ripe for returns, debuts, surprises, and of course, "WWE NXT" call-ups.
As of yet, no matches have been announced for tonight's show. But Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Oba Femi, and Brock Lesnar are all advertised to appear. Rhea Ripley, Penta, Logan Paul, and Stephanie Vaquer are also scheduled to appear.
Femi defeated Lesnar in the opening of Sunday's event, with Lesnar leaving his gloves and boots in the ring – a hallmark for wrestlers looking to retire. Vaquer was dethroned by Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship on Saturday, while Ripley dethroned Jade Cargill to become WWE Women's Champion.
Roman Reigns captured his seventh WWE World title in the main event of Sunday's show, taking CM Punk's World Heavyweight Championship and promising to stick around for the summer. Femi had made it clear during the Post-Show that his path shall cross with Reigns' one day soon, and Reigns went on to encourage Femi to try his shot.
Elsewhere, while not confirmed for the show as of yet, Gunther can be expected to try and leverage his favor from Paul Heyman after beating Seth Rollins. He had help in the shape of Bron Breakker, himself returning to action, and he may surely have something to say to Heyman, Paul, and Austin Theory about the state of the Vision.
Heyman looks to have his hands full balancing all of that with Lesnar's apparent retirement.
"Raw" streams via Netflix at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT.

Oba Femi kicks off Raw; Kabuki Warriors speak ahead of RHIYO match
Oba Femi kicks off the show with his entrance, suited and booted, the T-Mobile Arena chanting his name and strutting along with "The Ruler."
He takes a moment to soak in the crowd's chanting and applause. The mic goes up to his mouth, but he lowers it once more as the crowd breaks into another chant for his name.
"Your Ruler has arrived!" He declares at last, dropping the mic. He continues to stand in the ring and soak in the crowd chanting along with his song.
A backstage segment featuring Asuka and Kairi Sane plays. Asuka says she aims to remind Iyo Sky how her relationship with Rhea Ripley is working out for her. She says Sky not only made her own choice to turn her back on Asuka, but tried to corrupt Sane against her too. Now she and Sane will teach her to rue that choice.
Sky's music plays to begin her entrance, joined by new WWE Women's Champion Rhea Ripley ahead of a tag match against Asuka and Sane.
The Kabuki Warriors vs. RHIYO
The match starts with Sane and Sky in the ring. They tussle in the middle of the ring and Sky gets the advantage to push Sane up against the ropes. But the referee counts for the break and allows Sane to run at Sky when she does so. Sane at the advantage now by grabbing Sky's hair and throwing her down to the mat.
Momentum keeps switching in the early goings, each competitor having the other telegraphed until Sane couples a foot stomp with a spinning hurricanrana from the rop rope. Sky gets a quick roll-up on Sane for a two-count, and follows up with a butterfly backbreaker before tagging Ripley in.
Ripley drops Sky onto Sane and makes the cover for a two-count. Sane tags out to Asuka.
Asuka gets some strikes off and follows up with a baseball slide knee, but gets caught with a capoeira kick to take Asuka off her feet. Ripley sends Asuka into the referee and Sane takes a swing at her from the apron, Ripley ducks it but Asuka takes advantage of the distraction.
Sane takes Ripley out on the outside of the ring with an InSane Elbow as the match goes to commercial break.
Coming back from the commercial break and the Kabuki Warriors still hold the advantage. Sane goes for a cover on Ripley but only gets a two-count. Ripley fights both Asuka and Sane off as they attempt a double team maneuver, and she manages to tag out to Sky just as Asuka enters the fold opposite.
Sky fights both Asuka and the incoming Sane, dropping them with a double drop kick in the middle of the ring. She runs between the corners each competitor is sat in, delivering running knees against the buckles, going for the cover on Asuka for another two-count.
Sky tags Ripley back in, with Ripley delivering a crucifix slam followed by a missile dropkick from Sky, Ripley this time going for the cover and getting a two-count.
Sane gets a blind tag in on Asuka, allowing her to take advantage and go for the cover. Sky breaks up the fall at two. Asuka and then Sane go at Sky, Sky getting the better of the former before the latter had her under wraps, launching her against the ropes – but Sky used the momentum to turn it into a suicide dive onto Asuka.
Back in the ring, Ripley hits Rip Tide to Sane. Sky follows up with an Over The Moonsault and makes the winning pinfall.
RHIYO def. the Kabuki Warriors via Pinfall
A backstage segment follows with Adam Pearce talking to Penta. Je'Von Evans enters the frame and tells Penta he should be champion, but isn't trying to be disrespectful. Penta leaves with Evans dissatisfied, which is only compounded as Pearce introduces the newest member of Monday nights: Ethan Page.
Page and Evans renew their "WWE NXT" acquaintance and things get testy before Pearce books a singles match between them later in the show.
CM Punk addresses his World Heavyweight Championship loss
Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner and "WWE SmackDown" star Royce Keys is shown in attendance.
CM Punk makes his way out through Gorilla with no theme, no pyro, just the split crowd receiving him. He stands there, saying nothing, before finally taking a knee and saying "It's-" for the crowd to reciprocate "CLOBBERING TIME!" sparking his true entrance complete with music.
He smiles as the crowd cheers for him, fixing his face into a more lamentive. He said he's dealing with a lot of loss over the past few months, name-checking Duke Roufus and Larry among several other colleagues and dear friends to have passed away.
He uses that as a segue to his loss at WrestleMania on Sunday, although he admits the losses out of the ring stung him far more. He says that the support the fans provide him day in and day out is why he doesn't just break down from all his losses, and he knows with their support he'll find a way to deal with this one too.
He says he could have just stayed at home after losing the World Heavyweight title the first time around, but because he stayed ready he landed himself another opportunity and become the champion again. He says that if he had just broken down and given up then the crowd would be listening to Jey Uso in his position right now. The crowd boos, and he says he doesn't understand why, he likes to "YEET!" too.
He says he will not be taking vacation after this, because he never knows when an opportunity is going to fall out of the sky.
Cody Rhodes' music hits to precede the WWE Champion's arrival, rocking a gnarly black eye from his punt at the hands – or foot – of Randy Orton on Saturday.
Rhodes gets in the ring and Punk can't help but have a look at the eye, prompting a laugh from the champion.
Punk offers to leave as to not step on his toes, but Rhodes says this is Monday night "Raw" and this is his time.
Rhodes says he's the one that feels and looks like a loser, Punk jokes around as to whether that was intended to be a dig at him. But he continues to talk Rhodes and his victory up, making the case that it was easier for him to beat Reigns than Rhodes beat Orton due to the nature of their relationships.
Punk admits he was a loser, and Rhodes wasn't, but he will stay ready; he turns his attention to the WWE Championship, "Because you never know when an opportunity is going to fall out the sky."
"Hey Punk," Rhodes calls after him as he leaves. "You say when."
A vignette plays for Finn Balor after his victory over Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania. He says that he expected the betrayal from Mysterio, but it was JD McDonagh that surprised him. He talks about their history together and how McDonagh had a choice, and he chose Mysterio.
He says that tonight, he will take him out.
Ethan Page vs. Je'Von Evans
The bell rings and Page takes control with a side headlock, knocking Evans down with a shoulder check before Evans manages to roll him up for two.
Evans follows that up with a modified stunner, goes to the ropes but Page ducks behind the referee, taking advantage of the break to deck Evans and take control once more.
Page continues to work Evans over with chops and a side backbreaker. Evans still manages to come back with chops and punches but again Page stops him with a forearm on the rebound. Page goes for the cover and gets a two-count, continues to wear Evans down with a side headlock in the middle of the ring.
Evans gets up and drives Page into the corner, gets the separation and drops Page with a dropkick, follows up with a 'rana to send Page outside of the ring and follows up with a plancha to take him out on the floor to take things to commercial break.
Page is back on top when the action returns but Evans gets back on top with another high-flying maneuver. He gets a springboard elbow drop to a standing Page, going for the cover and getting a two-count.
Evans goes to the top rope again but Page joins him, socks him with a right and pulls him down. He slams Evans and goes for a cover, but only for the two-count.
Page rips Evans' shirt off to reveal the kinesiology taped torso of Evans, but their fight is taken to the outside of the ring and Page is left on the announcer's desk. Rusev has appeared at ringside, taking a swing at Evans, missing and getting plowed through by Evans in return.
Back in the ring, and Page takes advantage to deliver Twisted Grin and get the winning pinfall.
Ethan Page def. Je'Von Evans via Pinfall
After the match, Rusev enters the ring and puts a beat down on Evans. He cinches in the Accolade until Penta's music hits and the champion emerges to make the save. He almost fights Rusev off before Page returns to help Rusev take him out as well. Page leaves Rusev to it as he cinches in the Accolade to Penta in the middle of the ring.
Rusev picks up the Intercontinental title belt and poses with it to draw the segment to a close.
Liv Morgan celebrates her Women's World Championship win
The new Women's Tag Team Champions, Paige and Brie Bella, as well as Nikki Bella, are shown to be sat in front row.
Morgan makes her entrance alongside Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. The crowd serenades Morgan with "You deserve it" chants. Morgan says that is the smartest thing the Vegas crowd has said all day.
She thanks the entirety of the Judgment Day for helping her get here, and then she thanks Stephanie Vaquer for their match.
Sol Ruca's music plays to cut Morgan off and the former NXT Women's North American Champion makes her entrance.
Ruca says she has been watching Morgan and she is an inspiration to her, congratulating her on the title win. Morgan says she has some nerve interrupting her championship celebration, and says because she appreciates the comments she will give her some free advice: she is not Liv Morgan and she should get out of her ring.
Pearce comes out before things can boil over, bringing Jessika Carr out to book a match between them right away.
Liv Morgan vs. Sol Ruca
The bell rings and Ruca uses gymnastics to avoid Morgan's opening burst. Ruca gets a quick roll-up on Morgan and gets a two-count.
Morgan stays ahead by using the ring to her advantage, dropping against the ropes to fling Ruca off of them and continuing the beatdown in the middle of the ring. Morgan hits a running knee into the corner, but keeps running at Ruca allowing her to telegraph the champion. It doesn't pay off much, getting the advantage for mere seconds before Morgan took control once more.
Ruca creates space with a reversal into an X-Factor, heading to the apron as Morgan rolls out of the ring, and hitting a moonsault from it to take her opponent out on the floor.
Once more Morgan gets the better of Ruca and continues to wear her down in the ring, getting two two-counts before going for Three Amigos. Ruca reverses before she can complete the trilogy and the pair wind up in a striking exchange in the middle of the ring.
Ruca gets the better of it and drops Morgan completely with an elbow. She continues to rally and hit a release German Suplex from the corner, followed then by a missile dropkick from the top. She connects with a running knee and goes for the cover, but only gets the two-count.
Morgan goes for ObLivion but Ruca avoids it, delivers Sol Snatcher but Morgan has rolled out of the ring by the time she goes to make the cover. Ruca then proceeds to flip over the ropes, taking out Perez and Rodriguez on the outside of the ring. While Carr is dealing with Morgan in the ring, Zaria jumps over the barrier and ambushes Ruca ahead of their Last Woman Standing match on Tuesday.
Ruca beats the count but is ultimately beaten herself from an ObLivion.
Liv Morgan def. Sol Ruca via Pinfall
After the match, Stephanie Vaquer comes out to confront Morgan. Morgan stares at her and holds the title aloft.
Paul Heyman addresses WrestleMania 42 losses
A package plays celebrating Brock Lesnar's career after his seeming retirement at WrestleMania 42. It features old footage of his collegiate wrestling days, his UFC run complete with an old interview from Dana White, and his return to WWE since – including Steve Austin's reaction to the Streak ending.
Paul Heyman emerges but not with Lesnar. His focus will be the Vision's World Tag Team Championship tandem, Austin Theory and Logan Paul.
He says his name is Paul Heyman. He says his favorite part about WrestleMania is that he should expect the unexpected, and he did not expect what happened to Lesnar at WrestleMania and it will live in his heart forever.
Heyman takes umbrage with the production team for having Lesnar in the "Now" section of the opening intro, demanding that they change it and put him in the "Forever" section. The crowd descends into "Thank you Brock" chants.
Heyman says he wants to talk about the now, the resurgence in the tag team division thanks to Theory and Paul.
Heyman hands the mic over to Paul for a personal message. The crowd boos, and boos, and continues to boo as Paul goes to speak. So he stops. The crowd boos louder when he starts again. And this continues before he finally musters his words about IShowSpeed being a backstabber is the sole reason they lost at WrestleMania.
Paul: "I hate these outsiders!"
He says nothing that happened matters, because Speed left with a piece of Paul's fist in his face, and he and Theory still left the Tag Team Champions.
Heyman then resumes and thanks Gunther for what he did at WrestleMania, saying that his repayment is ready whenever and wherever he chooses to accept it. But, the man he mostly credits is then introduced, Bron Breakker making his entrance.
Breakker says it is one year since he became the leader of the Vision, saying Seth Rollins was too weak, and adds that his favorite part of WrestleMania was ripping away victory from beneath him.
Rollins' music hits and the entirety of the Vision turn their attention to the ramp, but he appears in the ring behind them and drops Breakker with a chair to the back. He falls prey to the numbers game of Theory and Paul before the Street Profits' theme plays to signify their return. They come down to the ring and make the save by taking out Theory and Paul, taking them for a brawl into the crowd.
Back in the ring, and Breakker has Rollins lined up for a spear. Rollins catches him mid-run with a superkick, sets up for the curbstomp, but the Breakker avoids it and cuts him in half with a spear at last.
Breakker dials up with multiple rope rebounds and drops Rollins with another spear to draw the segment to a close.
Finn Balor vs. JD McDonagh
Balor enters in his standard persona, leaving "The Demon" at WrestleMania, while McDonagh enters bandaged up from his ladder match.
Balor immediately launches after McDonagh and takes the fight into the crowd. McDonagh tries to escape up the stairs, but Balor brings him back into the ringside area and into the ring itself for the bell to... ring.
McDonagh finds the advantage with the little bit of space being thrown into the ring allowed, but he gets rattled by "Bobble Head" chants and Balor resumes control. He attempts a Coup de Grace but McDonagh manages to avoid it.
McDonagh regains control and continues to wear Balor down before the "Prinxe" comes back and drops him to the mat. Balor continues with combinations before plainly stomping McDonagh, following that up with a slingblade and going for a shotgun dropkick into the corner. McDonagh avoided the kick managed to connect with a ripcord headbutt, dropping Balor for a two-count.
Balor leapfrogs McDonagh across the ring and connects with the shotgun dropkick. He follows it up with a CDG and gets the winning pinfall.
Finn Balor def. JD McDonagh via Pinfall
After the match, Mysterio emerges and attacks Balor from behind. Balor gets the better of Mysterio but McDonagh manages to rescue his stablemate to draw the segment to a close.
A backstage segment airs with Gunther being interviewed by Jackie Redmond. He refuses to answer as to what the favor is he wants from Heyman. But he says people should get used to idea of the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist.
LA Knight comes into frame and in so many words said he would also be pursuing the World Heavyweight title too.
A Joe Hendry concert is announced for next week's "Raw."
Another backstage segment cuts to Ripley and Sky crying, Ripley makes it clear she is leaving for "SmackDown" but before she does, Morgan is there to say, "I guess I'll be seeing you around."
Ripley turns to her and says, "I'm looking forward to it."
Roman Reigns begins his World Heavyweight Championship reign
Reigns is joined by the Usos and showered with "OTC" chants in the ring.
"LAS VEGAS! ACKNOWLEDGE ME!!!"
He says he was going to talk about the future, but then he ran into his cousins and it just made sense that he would discuss some family business first. He says he misses this. He misses being the Usos. He says that separated and scattered they're weak and they have people disrespecting them.
He says when they were together, they ran the business for four years straight. And he's not asking them to serve him, he's asking them to be his blood and stand with him. Jimmy says he speaks for his brother when he says it, Reigns is the OTC. The Usos stand by Reigns and put their ones up.
Then Jacob Fatu's music hits.
The "Samoan Werewolf" makes his entrance. The newly reformed Bloodline staring daggers through him.
Reigns says it's been a while since the last time he saw him. There can only be a couple of reasons he would come out here, and he assumes it is to acknowledge him.
"Nah, that ain't it," Fatu says.
Reigns says he guesses it's because he wants the title. Fatu says he doesn't want it, he needs it. "And to be clear, I'm not here to be the Tribal Chief. But I need everything the Tribal Chief has."
He needs it, even if he has to go through him. He makes the challenge for Backlash.
Reigns says he wants all those things for him too. And maybe he can beat him. But can he handle the burden of the title. And if he loses, can he handle the burden of having to acknowledge him.
He says he isn't yes and he's not saying no. He is giving Fatu until next week to come to a final decision, and he will see him then, "little cousin."
As the show goes off air, Reigns can be heard telling Jimmy to talk some sense into Fatu.
