LA Knight Drops Roman Reigns After WWE Raw, Will Challenge For World Title At MITB

LA Knight is finally getting his match with Roman Reigns.

Knight has had problems with Reigns and The Bloodline for a long time — so long that he hesitantly agreed to team up with Solo Sikoa against them. They built a strong alliance and Knight has been gunning for a match with Reigns. Following Reigns' successful title defense over Penta in Mexico City on "WWE Raw," after the show went off the air, Knight saw his opening. He came to the ring and surprised the champ. They exchanged words, and Reigns turned to get a mic. When he turned around again, Knight landed a BFT. While Reigns was laid out, Knight picked up the title and held it against his waist.

Reigns posted a clip to social media with the caption that reads "I'll see your b****a** at MITB." In the clip, Reigns said he's so sick of beggars. He turned to look at Knight in the ring and said "If he wants it, he can get it at Money in the Bank. New Orleans. I'm gonna whip his b****a**!"

MITB emanates from the Smoothie King Center on October 10. MITB qualifying matches are underway with Bron Breakker, Sol Ruca, Je'Von Evans, and Lola Vice advancing.
