Last night, "WWE Raw" was held in Mexico City for the first time in 15 years, and the show did not disappoint, with the red brand producing some of its best matches of the year thanks to some of its luchadores. While Dragon Lee attempted to defeat Chad Gable for the Intercontinental Title, Penta was looking to dethrone Roman Reigns to become World Heavyweight Champion, and though both men failed to emerge victorious, they overdelivered in both their matches.

After "Raw" went off the air, two AEW stars immediately took to social media to praise Penta and Lee for their performances, as Mexico's own Andrade and Rush voiced their love for both wrestlers.

"@PENTAELZEROM 👊🏼"

"Congratulations brother @dragonlee95. Congratulations @PENTAELZEROM 👏🏼👏🏼long live Mexico 🇲🇽 👊🏿"

Going forward, it remains to be seen if Penta will continue to be involved in the main event scene on "Raw," or if he'll find himself back in the mid-card and chasing the Intercontinental Title again, especially since he lost it to Gable at SummerSlam. For most of this year, Lee has been focused on becoming Intercontinental Champion and has made several appearances in AAA, but has yet to find gold around his waist so far.

Throughout his career, Andrade has continued to return to Mexico on occasion, having wrestled in CMLL and AAA during his first and second stint in AEW. As for Rush, he's mostly been focused on his responsibilities for AEW and ROH, but has competed for independent wrestling companies in Mexico over the years. The most recent Mexican event that the Jacksonville-based promotion was involved in was CMLL Semana Internacional CMLL vs. AEW, with the second and third night of the three-card show taking place this past August.
