William Regal Praises WWE Raw Main Event, Encourages Wrestlers To Watch & Learn

In the main event of "WWE Raw" from Mexico City, Roman Reigns defeated Penta to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. The match was filled with pomp and circumstance on Penta's end as he arrived at the arena on horseback. It didn't stop there as the luchador donned an elaborate head dress and had a massive amount of pyro. Reigns, on the other hand, maintained his normal entrance and attire.

The match picked up in the closing minutes with Penta connecting with the Penta Driver and not one, but two Mexican Destroyers. He delivered three Superkicks to the champ, but Reigns landed a spear to put his challenger away. Penta's performance received tweets of support from AEW's Andrade El Idolo and RUSH. The match also drew the praise of William Regal, particularly the performance of "The Tribal Chief".

Regal rarely takes to social media and he had a message for other wrestlers. "If any talent of any standard want (sic) to really up their quality of drawing your audience then study in great detail Roman Reigns facials, reacting (I would say selling but selling is acting and this was in a different world than that) and body motion from last nights (sic) bout against Penta on Raw. Masterful," he wrote.

Reigns already has his next challenger. Following the main event, LA Knight laid him out and Reigns took to social media to give him a match at MITB. The match has been made official by WWE.
