TNA KO Champ Xia Brookside Said She Grew Up Wanting To Be 'Female Dolph Ziggler'

Xia Brookside won the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Slammiversary and had a successful defense at Lockdown and again on last week's episode of iMPACT, although Indi Hartwell tried to keep her from leaving. When Hartwell was distracted by Daria Rae, Brookside used the opening to hit her opponent, Gabby Forza with the title and escaped with the win.

On the same episode of iMPACT, Nic Nemeth also defended the TNA World Title against Matt Hardy. The graphic for that show had Nemeth and Brookside on the left side and their opponents on the right. During "Busted Open", Brookside revealed she has wanted to be the "female version of Dolph Ziggler" when she was 13 or 14.

She explained, "that was my dream. The longevity of his career, his selling, his babyface smile. Like everything about him. I had female role models like Paige and stuff, but I wanted to be the female Dolph Ziggler. That graphic that went out yesterday and it's Nic and I on the same side and I was literally like, 'oh my God, I did it! My vision; everything is happening around me'. Things just pop up now and I'm just like, that's literally what I was manifesting 12 years ago and now I'm world champion at the same time as Nic, we're on the same graphic. My life is just incredible."
