Remaining Teams Announced For WWE NXT's Dusty Rhodes Classic Tournament

"WWE NXT" General Manager Robert Stone announced last week that the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic would be returning for the ninth time. The tournament began in 2015 with the last iteration taking place in 2024 and was won by The Wolf Dogs, Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker. 

Fourteen teams from "NXT", "WWE EVOLVE", AAA, and the main roster will participate. No teams from TNA were included. Stone announced on "Busted Open" that AAA's Galeno and Dr. Wagner Jr. and Vanity Project are in the tournament. The Creed Brothers were also announced.

Over the weekend, the rest of the bracket was revealed on social media. On Saturday the following teams were announced:

-BirthRight's Uriah Connors and Stacks

-Mini Vikingo and Chazz "Starboy" Hall

-FrAxiom

-DarkState's Cutler James and Osiris Griffin

-Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar

-Los Americanos

-Vanity Project's Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes

The rest of the teams were announced on Sunday:

-Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux

-The Creed Brothers

-Harley Riggins and Jaxson Presley

-Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov

-Hank and Tank

-Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno

In the past, the winner of the tournament has received a shot at the "NXT" tag team titles. The current champions, Baylor and Smokes are in the tournament. The tournament begins this Tuesday.
