Joseph Sawyer & Samuel Shaw (FKA Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis) Arrive On TNA Impact

The former Wyatt Sicks pairing of Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw, formerly Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis in WWE, debuted during Thursday's "TNA Impact."

Following a spate of backstage attacks, including one against Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy made it his mission to identify and confront the new threat. Last week, it was revealed that there were actually two attackers, and this week's show saw Jeff return alongside Matt to confront them.

The Hardys came down to the ring and called the assailants out to face them, with the lights then flickering as a brawl initiated in the ring. When the lights returned, two men stood over the Hardys and unmasked to reveal Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw. 

The Titantron read "Syx," which would appear to be their new team name, tipping the proverbial cap to their former faction. However, Shaw appeared with short hair and a mustache, reverting to his look from before joining the group. 

Shaw and Sawyer were released by WWE in April alongside Bo Dallas, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross. For Shaw it was the end of his second run with the company, having been released in 2022 before being brought back just months later. For Sawyer it marked the end of a six-year spell. 

Shaw is returning to familiar ground with TNA while Sawyer is in a new environment for himself.
