Tony Khan Promises AEW Worlds End PPV Will Happen In 2026

With the last quarter (Q4) of 2026 approaching, some wrestling fans have noticed that AEW Worlds End, an event typically held during the timeframe, has yet to be announced. According to AEW CEO Tony Khan, that will soon change.

On the AEW All Out media call, Khan promised that Worlds End will maintain its position near the end of the calendar year. Exactly when and where it will take place is currently unclear, though.

"There will definitely be a Worlds End pay-per-view this year," Khan reassured. "That's a really great question and very good observation by you looking at the calendar. There will be a Worlds End pay-per-view. We're looking ahead and planning the calendar for later in the year. Of course, Worlds End will be the culmination of the Continental Classic, which is always one of the highlights of AEW in recent years. Worlds End is a tremendous pay-per-view. I really enjoyed the show last year ... It was a great day, and I'm really looking forward to it. So stay tuned for the announcements about Worlds End."

All Out, the next pay-per-view on AEW's schedule, will emanate from the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday, September 26. Following that will be WrestleDream, a yearly PPV honoring the late NJPW founder Antonio Inoki, on October 17 in Orlando. On November 14, AEW talents will then head to Phoenix for Full Gear. 

The 2025 Worlds End featured a main event pitting then-AEW World Champion Samoa Joe against MJF, "Hangman" Adam Page and Swerve Strickland. MJF won the title by pinning Joe.
