Ricochet Reacts To Steven Borden's Injury At AEW All Out: 'No One Is At Fault'

During AEW All Out on Saturday, Steven Borden made his pay-per-view debut alongside Darby Allin against Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher. The winners were set to get a future shot at the tag titles. During the match, Borden and Knight collided in mid-air, which left Borden injured. After being checked on by Doc Sampson, the match was called off. Borden left the arena on a stretcher and following the show, Tony Khan stated he was awake and that a CT scan and tests had come back good.

Since the incident, people have taken to social media to assign blame for the accident. When a fan compared Borden's spot with a similar one Logan Paul did against Ricochet in WWE, the fan assumed Paul had practiced the move for months. Ricochet responded to the fan and set the record straight.

"No, we tried it once and that was basically it. But it doesn't matter if we practiced it once or 1000 times. People have been hurt in wrestling doing high risk and low risk moves. It unfortunately is an aspect we face every time we step into the ring. No one is at fault here. It's an unfortunate situation. So lets (sic) hope that Steven continues to get better," Ricochet wrote.
