Report: WWE Won't Move Worlds Collide Air Date Despite Going Against AEW Tribute Show

Following the unexpected death of Benjamin "PAC" Satterley, AEW CEO Tony Khan confirmed that the upcoming episode of "AEW Dynamite," slated for Wednesday night at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT, would serve as a special tribute to the late World Trios Champion. WWE, meanwhile, was already set to broadcast its WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event on YouTube, with a respective start time of 7 PM ET the same night. According to a report, the latter will stay that way, even despite the new circumstances surrounding "Dynamite."

"For those who have asked whether WWE Worlds Collide stream will be moved to a different day since it was going up against AEW's Tribute to Pac, that will not be the case," Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported. "The show will still premiere tomorrow at 7 PM Eastern."

Worlds Collide originally operated as a live event, directly opposite AEW All Out in the Chicago area on September 26. CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and El Grande Americano headlined the WWE x AAA show with a six-man tag team victory over Omos and The Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. All Out featured a main event pitting AEW World Champion Will Ospreay against Jon Moxley. Sadly, it also emerged as the stage for PAC's final match as he unsuccessfully challenged Andrade El Idolo for the National Championship less than 24 hours before his death.

On the upcoming "Dynamite," two of PAC's biggest rivals, Ospreay and Ricochet, will go one-on-one in his honor. Khan announced the match earlier today, noting "this one's for Ben."
