A scary moment occurred at AEW All Out when a mistimed spot led to a doctor stopping the tag team match pitting Darby Allin and Steven Borden against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight. Borden was injured when he jumped from the top turnbuckle in an attempt to meet Knight in the air, and crashed down the mat, seemingly unresponsive. The son of wrestling legend Sting was taken from ringside on a stretcher.

AEW commentator Tony Schiavone had a positive update on Borden on "What Happened When" on Tuesday. He said he talked to the star on the phone on Monday, and Borden is just fine, but Schiavone couldn't offer an official diagnosis.

"He had no headaches. He had no dizziness," Schiavone said. "But, I can tell you by talking to him, he said, 'I'm fine.' He did tell me, 'Of all the years that I played football for the University of Kentucky,' he said, 'I never had a concussion. I never experienced anything like that.' He was more upset that he thought that he ruined the pay-per-view by what happened."

Schiavone said he told Borden that he didn't ruin anything, and that the commentary team announced twice that he had arrived at the hospital and was awake and talking, news which "lifted everybody's spirits." Schiavone said, personally, in the moment, he was scared, because the first thing that came to mind was Owen Hart's fatal fall at Over the Edge 1999. He said he's thankful Borden's scare was nothing like that.

"It's hard, and it's hard for announcers because you gotta keep moving forward," he said. "You gotta keep the excitement up. Until you hear something definite. You really can't let the moment drag you down."
