AEW Releases Pac Tribute Videos From Wrestlers That Didn't Make Dynamite Broadcast
The September 30 episode of "AEW Dynamite" will be remembered as the night All Elite Wrestling paid tribute to the late Benjamin "Pac" Satterley, who passed away on September 27. Throughout the night, multiple AEW stars said a few words and shared some memories about their time with Pac, such as Hangman Page, Darby Allin, Jay White and more. In fact, there were so many people who wanted to pay their own respects to Pac that not all of them made it to air, which has led to AEW's official YouTube channel uploading a supercut of every tribute that wasn't shown on "Dynamite."
Bryan Danielson, who actually came out of retirement to help the Death Riders defeat the Don Callis Family in the main event of "Dynamite," thanked the man he knew as Ben for being such a good friend, and said that for all the nice things everyone has said about Satterley, he was worthy of all of them. Danielson also stated that Pac hated compliments, a sentiment shared by a number of other people too, including The Young Bucks, who both agreed that Pac would have probably hated everyone being so nice about him.
The likes of Chuck Taylor and Brandon Cutler admitted they are sick and tired of losing the people closest to them. Konosuke Takeshita revealed that his fathered cried after watching a Pac match it was that powerful, and referee Bryce Remsburg wore a Club America soccer jersey he bought with Pac whilst attending a match in Mexico City, stating that his kids became Newcastle United fans because of their friend Ben.
Everyone who sat down to open their hearts stated that they loved Ben, they were going to miss him, and that they will always cherish the time, whether brief or sustained, that they spent with him.
