Backstage Update On Potential WWE Return Of Naomi In 2026

It's been more than a year since Naomi wrestled in a WWE ring, but recent rumors indicated that the former world champion is expected back within the company soon after giving birth earlier this year. A new report from Fightful Select has offered an update, stating that they haven't heard of anything imminent from inside the company regarding her return, but she is expected back relatively soon.

As of this past August, Naomi's WWE return had been internally expected to take place before the end of the year, but the outlet was unable to learn if there had been any updates since then.

Speculation regarding Naomi's comeback began to surface with Jaida Parker being called up to join the new faction 946 on the main roster. With 946 and The Bloodline locked in a heated feud, it appears someone will be needed to counter Parker's presence in the rivalry. Naomi is an obvious choice for speculation, considering she is married to The Bloodline's Jimmy Uso.

Naomi has largely gone quiet on social media over the past year. Her last posts on Instagram and X had her revealing that she and Uso were expecting a boy. She also noted that she had dealt with some pregnancy complications but both she and the baby were stable. Since then, she's opted to keep things private, though Jimmy's brother Jey Uso did confirm that Naomi had given birth during an appearance on Hot Ones Versus earlier this year.
