Dave Meltzer Provides Update On Keanu Carver's WWE NXT Absence
Earlier this week, news broke that "WWE NXT" Superstar Keanu Carver (Kevin Robertson) was ordered not to have contact with another "NXT" wrestler after an order of protection was filed against him. Due to that order, Robertson cannot be within 500 feet of the Petitioner and cannot have contact with her. Out of concerns for the Petitioner's safety, we are choosing not to use her name.
Since the order of protection was granted on September 14, Robertson hasn't been on television nor has he been mentioned. There was a hearing on September 22 and a judge extended the order through October 20. A day prior to the filing, the Petitioner said she called the police because Robertson came to her home and refused to leave and threatened to harm himself.
Since then, Robertson stopped appearing on "NXT" and there is no official word on his status with WWE, according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Meltzer previously said on Wrestling Observer Radio that he doesn't expect Robertson to be back.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter included more details about the situation. Before filing the order of protection, the Petitioner said she had been in a relationship with Robertson, but had broken it off. She said the relationship was abusive. In the filing, she says that Robertson "spat on me, physically restrained me from leaving his house" and "has threatened to kill me, as well as my cats, he has woken me up by plugging my nose in my sleep, he has grabbed me by my throat multiple times and squeezed hard while threatening to kill me."

In the filing, the Petitoner provided specific details and dates of incidents where Robertson called her multiple times in a row, repeatedly knocked on her door, and ignored texts to leave her alone. She says he was coming over in the middle of the night and incessantly knocking and affecting her job by keeping her awake. The Petitioner took video of Robertson from her phone of him outside her home and also had to install a security camera at the front door. She also says a neighbor took a photo of Robertson asleep against her door because she was afraid for the Petitioner.
Robertson's last televised match was September 8. In the Petitioner's filing, she detailed an incident that happened the same day. She says he was waiting outside of her home and when she tried to leave in her vehicle, Robertson grabbed the vehicle. He returned later that night, knocked on the door, and circled her home until the next morning.
