ROH, TNT, And More AEW Titles Set To Be Defended At Grand Slam: France
The stars of AEW will be heading to Paris, France for the first-time ever on October 6 for AEW Grand Slam France, and the fans attending the event will witness a total of four championship matches. The AEW World Championship match between Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada was announced immediately after AEW All Out 2026, but now three extra title matches have been added to the show.
Following his victory over ROH Men's Pure Champion Lee Moriarty on the October 3 episode of "AEW Collision," Kofi not only wanted to get another win over a Ring of Honor champion, but also wanted to get back in the ring with someone he recently shared it with. This prompted him to call out ROH World Champion Bandido, and that match was later made official for Paris with the title on the line.

Darby Allin will also be in France this Tuesday as he will be defending the AEW TNT Championship against Kyle Fletcher. Darby noted on "Collision" that after the injury to Steven Borden at All Out in their match with Fletcher and Kevin Knight, he wanted to keep pushing forward and proving that he still has so much to achieve as the TNT Champion. He stated that Fletcher never actually lost the TNT Championship as he originally vacated the title due to injury back in April, and the only way Darby could prove to himself that he is the undisputed champion is by defeating Fletcher in Paris.

Mercedes Mone already has "The Toxic Spider" Thekla to think about at AEW WrestleDream 2026 on October 17, but there is no guarantee she walks into that event as the AEW Women's World Champion as her title will also be on the line. "The CEO" will defend her crown against Queen Aminata, a woman who has not only won her last five matches in AEW, but has a close connection to the French capital as she previously lived and studied at university there.
