Bully Ray Lays Out 'Great Storytelling' Opportunity For WWE Money In The Bank

With Roxanne Perez competing in the Women's Money in the Bank match this weekend, and her Judgment Day stablemate Liv Morgan wrestling for the WWE Women's World Championship against champion Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch right before or after, many are wondering if the potential exists for both to win, setting up an awkward scenario where Perez can cash in on Morgan. It's a possibility that's crossed Bully Ray's mind, and one he wouldn't mind seeing. But as he revealed on "Busted Open Radio" Tuesday morning, there's another scenario he'd prefer to see should Perez and Morgan both emerge victorious on Saturday.

"Could you imagine if Liv Morgan wins, Becky's selling on the floor, the medical is attending to...Vaquer, and Liv is all by herself sitting in the corner, clutching that championship," Bully said. "But she's out of breath, because she just won a big three-way dance. And Roxanne's music hits, and here she comes with the briefcase. Roxanne slides in, Roxanne has the briefcase, she's looking right down at Liv who's holding the championship, right?

"You get that moment, you get those eyes locking. Liv is scared, she doesn't know what's going on. Roxanne knows she's got that ace up her sleeve in the Money in the Bank. The referee is right there. 'Do you want me to ring the bell right now? Do you want me to ring the bell?' And then Roxanne helps up Liv. You have this moment of tension, maybe the embrace or maybe Roxanne walks away. You can really set the tone and the table for great storytelling moving forward right there."

While the scenario is in play, both Perez and Morgan will have plenty of work to do to make it possible. While Morgan has Vaquer and Lynch to deal with, Perez will be competing against Lash Legend, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, Sol Ruca, and former WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton for the Women's briefcase.
