"WWE SmackDown's" viewership and ratings have remained steady, with little change in either metric for the October 2, 2026, show.

The blue brand's viewership, which has hovered around the 1.25 million mark, has once again remained steady, dipping slightly from 1.26 million the previous week to 1.25 million, "Wrestlenomics" reports. The previous two episodes of "SmackDown" averaged 1.26 million viewers, while another drew 1.22 million.

The key demographic rating among viewers aged 18–49 has also remained unchanged at 0.27, matching the previous week's figure. This is slightly lower than the ratings for the first three episodes of September, all of which registered 0.29. According to the report, "SmackDown's" 0.27 rating earned it the no. 2 spot on cable for the night.

The October 2 "SmackDown" from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado saw two Money in the Bank qualifying matches, where Tiffany Stratton and Kevin Owens qualified for the weekend's women's and men's Money in the Bank ladder matches. On the show, WWE Champion Sami Zayn was also confronted by the competitors from the men's Money in the Bank ladder matches, Je'Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Penta, with the segment ending with GUNTHER clotheslining Zayn and Finn Balor, another of Zayn's challengers.
