Former WCW, ECW, and WWE star 2 Cold Scorpio, real name Charles Scaggs, was sentenced on Friday following a 2024 incident where he admitted to stabbing a man while working as a security guard in Kansas City. Last month, Scaggs' bond was revoked and he was jailed after he admitted to violating his bond by brandishing a firearm.

According to PWInsider, Scaggs pled guilty to second degree assault charges and armed criminal action and was sentenced to six years in prison. The outlet reported that he has the immediate chance to earn probation after completing a 120-day program, due to his lack of criminal history prior to his June 2024 arrest.

Scaggs took the plea deal back in August. He was initially set to be charged with first degree assault. His bond was revoked the following month due to the firearm incident. Court notes at the time indicated Scaggs' bond violation was a "danger to public safety."

The high-flyer was first arrested after an incident at his workplace, a travel center in Kansas City, where he worked as a security guard. According to TMZ details, Scaggs said that he told a man to put out a cigarette. The man initially said he complied, but later admitted it might not have been out. Scaggs, claiming self defense, admitted to stabbing him, and the victim was found with numerous wounds to his head, chest, and stomach.

Scaggs last wrestled in August 2025. He teamed with Masha Slamovich and The Great Sasuke in a victory over Alice Crowley, JP Grayson, and Matt Cross at GCW/JCW The 2 Day War. Two months prior, he challenged Effy for the GCW World Championship, and had remained active across the independent scene over the years.
