WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns has discussed his plans to act in more movies following his role in "Street Fighter."

Reigns has followed in the footsteps of Batista, The Rock, and John Cena by transitioning from pro wrestling to acting, albeit not yet reaching the same level of success as those three stars. "The Original Tribal Chief" recently dipped his toes into movies once again, portraying Akuma in the "Street Fighter" movie, and discussed his interest in taking on more roles at the film's premiere.

"I would love to [act in more movies.] I mean, I'm a husband and father first. That's always going to be my priority," he began when speaking to "extratv." "WWE has been great to me, you know, when I've really needed a team to pick me up, they were the team that picked me up when I was down, when I was, you know, a lot younger. But you can't fall down your whole life, you know what I mean? Wrestling is a rough, rough way of earning a living, and I want to continue to explore these, you know, these performing arts, these tools that I've sharpened and learned over the years. And if I can contribute and collaborate, and then be a part of the creative process, I'd love to."

Reigns moved to a part-time role in WWE a few years ago, which gave him the time to pursue acting roles, like the one in "Street Fighter," a movie that also includes former rival Cody Rhodes.

His other recent film projects include a small role in the Eddie Murphy-starrer "The Pickup" and a part in the animated movie "Zootopia 2," alongside another former rival, CM Punk, with the two voicing police officers.
