Pro wrestling podcaster and wrestling collector Conrad Thompson ruffled a few feathers when he claimed that Roman Reigns is overrated, a comment that has received a stern response from the WWE star.

Reigns pushed back on Thompson's recent comments about him on the "Club Shay Shay" podcast, ridiculing the popularity of his shows, while also asserting that he's a "metric mover." He also alleged that Thompson is using Reigns' popularity to get views for his shows.

"The truth is, are there a lot of people watching that guy's show? So, you're going to say stuff. You already know I'm a metric mover, that type of stuff. They know I get views and all that stuff. So, it's fine. I mean, it is what it is," began Reigns. "But yeah, I mean, and if you look at the guy's background, you already know where his support system, you know what I mean? All you got to do is scroll a little bit and you see who he's a fan of and stuff like that and who he's connected to. But no, if they want to use my name to give views, that's, that's the industry right now."

Reigns is regarded as one of the biggest stars in pro wrestling today, but some naysayers still don't believe he deserves the praise he gets. Thompson argued that Reigns shouldn't be in the discussion for the Mt. Rushmore of Wrestling, adding that "The Original Tribal Chief" hasn't had the kind of moments greats like Steve Austin, Ric Flair, or Hulk Hogan have had. Others in the business, like AEW's MVP, have said that Reigns has earned his place in wrestling but don't think he has crossed over into cinema and become a big name like The Rock or John Cena.

The ever-confident Reigns, who recently said that he still has more left in him to give to the business, believes anyone who steps into the ring with him gets elevated to a higher position.
