Bully Ray Says 'Absolutely Nothing Went Wrong' With Announce Table Spot At WWE MITB

Bully Ray has hit out at fans who criticized LA Knight for taking two attempts to land a powerbomb on Roman Reigns in their match at WWE Money in the Bank.

Knight attempted to lift Reigns and throw him through the announce table in the closing stages of the match. He failed on his first attempt but eventually managed to lift the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and send him crashing through the table. Ray, on "Busted Open," said that nothing was wrong with that spot and the failed first attempt actually made fans back him even louder.

"Nothing went wrong with the announce table spot. Not everything is supposed to be perfect. Not everything is supposed to be smooth. It's supposed to look like a struggle. It's supposed to look like a fight. It shouldn't be easy. That announce table spot went perfectly fine. It worked. How do I know it worked? Because when LA Knight powerbombed Roman Reigns through it, the people went crazy. He threw him back in the ring, he hit the elbow drop, and more people bit on that false finish than any other false finish in the match. It was as great of a false finish in a Roman Reigns match as any false finish in any Roman Reigns match of all time," said Ray.

The Hall of Famer went in on critics calling it a botch, and argued that the failed first attempt at the powerbomb made it look more real, as most wouldn't believe it would be easy for Knight to powerbomb Reigns.

"If you think there was something wrong with the announce table spot, there's something wrong with you. If you're calling that a botch, you were botched at birth. Why? Because they didn't get it on the first try? Who cares? It made it more realistic. It's a struggle. Roman is heavy. LA Knight shouldn't be able to manhandle Roman Reigns," he added.

Ray was so impressed with Knight's performance against Reigns that he wants to see a rematch between the two, even more than a rematch between Reigns and Penta following their recent match.
