After it was revealed over the weekend that Stephanie Vaquer was medically cleared to take on Becky Lynch in a number one contender's match to determine who will face Women's World Champion Liv Morgan next, a new post on WWE's X (formerly Twitter) account called Vaquer's status into question once again. The women were set to face off on Monday's edition of "WWE Raw."

"Questions have arisen regarding Stephanie Vaquer's medical availability heading into #WWERaw," the post read. "Adam Pearce will address everything on tonight's show."

Pearce, general manager of the red brand, revealed on his own X account over the weekend that Lynch and Vaquer would be going one-on-one on Monday night in the number one contender's match. On last week's episode of the show, Lynch challenged Vaquer, who was still wearing a cast backstage. Pearce brushed off the challenge in the segment, before his post confirming the bout on Saturday.

"La Primera" reportedly suffered a legitimate ankle injury during her Women's World Championship defense against Morgan and Lynch at Money in the Bank, where Morgan won back the gold. She competed in two matches during WWE's live tour in Hawaii in the days following the event, however. The star had been seemingly playing up the injury backstage, as initial reports indicated she wasn't set to miss a significant amount of time.
