WWE NXT GM Robert Stone Announces UFC Fighter As Unsanctioned Match Special Enforcer
If the "WWE NXT" Universe thought Wednesday's special edition show couldn't get any bigger, then they better think again.
As announced by "NXT" on-screen General Manager Robert Stone via X [formerly known as Twitter], UFC fighter and former three-time Bellator Lightweight Champion "Iron" Michael Chandler will call Dion Lennox and Cruz Montana's match right down the middle, as he'll be the special guest enforcer in their Unsanctioned match. Chandler immediately replied to the news by posting, "It's set in stone!!!! Not a better man for the job...no one is more unsanctioned than me."

In addition to Lennox and Montana's next chapter match, the former "Never Seen 17" World Champion John Cena will also stop by after kicking off the week with his "WWE Raw" appearance. Also in the mix, the final of the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament will be held, as Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno will take on Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger), with Cody Rhodes in attendance. "The American Nightmare" will present the Dusty trophy to the winning team.
Due to election coverage on Tuesday, "NXT" will move next week's episode to Wednesday, pitting itself against AEW and its annual Blood & Guts edition of "AEW Dynamite." Later today, "NXT" will hold its annual Halloween Havoc show.
