AEW's Chris Jericho Set To Star In New Horror Action Film

AEW star Chris Jericho is no stranger to horror films, with "Terrifier 2" and "Terrifier 3" among his acting credits, and this week, it was revealed that the former AEW World Champion will be starring in a new creature action horror film. According to Deadline, Jericho will appear in "I Am Teeth," by Epic Pictures Group, directed by Scott B. Hansen.

Deadline reported that Jericho plays a bounty hunter known simply as "The Hunter." The outlet's synopsis of the story reveals that the movie is about middle school children, searching for a lost pet, who end up trapping a werewolf who turns out to be more than just a creature. The kids are pursued by Jericho's character, as well as something even more sinister.

The film is set to go before buyers at the American Film Market next week. Select scenes will be shown, and production of the rest of the film is planned for the beginning of 2027, according to Deadline.

"I Am Teeth" isn't Jericho's only upcoming project. In October, it was revealed he was cast as legendary wrestling star Gorgeous George in "The Greatest," an Amazon Prime limited series surrounding the life of boxing legend Muhammed Ali. On November 4, Jericho took to X (formerly Twitter) to show off a photo of himself dressed as the flamboyant star.

Jericho also stars in an episode of "Dexter: Resurrection," as a character known as "The Midnight Mangler." He also appeared in an episode of "Margo's Got Money Troubles." Within the ring, Jericho was most recently defeated twice by Nick Wayne, including at AEW WrestleDream. The star's "Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager At Sea," which will feature an episode of "AEW Collision," will set sail this weekend.
