WWE SmackDown Viewership Down Going Into Stomping Grounds

This week's WWE SmackDown episode, featuring the final hype for the WWE Stomping Grounds pay-per-view with WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins defeating Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in a 2 of 3 Falls match, drew 1.859 million viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily.

This is down 3.7% from last week's 1.930 million viewers for the post-Super ShowDown episode, and the third-lowest SmackDown audience for a non-holiday first-run episode in history.

SmackDown was #8 for the night in viewership on cable, behind Hannity, Tucker Carlson Tonight, The Ingraham Angle, Rachel Maddow Show, The Story, The Five and The Haves & The Have Nots. SmackDown was #2 in the Cable Top 150 18-49 demographic this week, behind Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which drew 1.668 million viewers. This ends a three-week run at #1 on the Cable Top 150 for SmackDown.

The big draw on network TV at 8pm was America's Got Talent on NBC, which drew 10.003 million viewers.

To compare, Monday's Stomping Grounds go-home edition of WWE RAW drew an average of 2.235 million viewers, up from last week's 2.125 million viewers, which was the lowest non-holiday RAW viewership in history.
