Kevin Nash Revisits WWE NXT Facing AEW Dynamite

Just a few weeks ago, "AEW Dynamite" and "WWE NXT" went head-to-head, where the latter brought several big guns to defeat their rival. WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently commented on the ratings war between the two companies on his "Kliq This" podcast," and claimed that "NXT" smoked its rival that night.

"Number one, you play a baseball game, you get beat by seven runs, you got beat," said Nash. "There wasn't a — there was no call that could have gone either way, no ball hit the upright, they [AEW] got smoked. If you think that 'Taker coming down and what he did for seven seconds with Bron [Breakker], that's — it doesn't matter, your roster is your roster. Everybody is on some kind of downside here, everybody's getting paid either weekly or biweekly, that's your roster. If you want to move those pieces around any way you want to, that's just what you can do."

"Dynamite" aired on Tuesday, October 10, instead of Wednesday, due to the MLB playoffs coverage on TBS. As per the TV ratings report, "NXT," which featured not only the surprise return of The Undertaker's "American Badass" persona, but appearances by John Cena and Cody Rhodes, won with 921,000 total viewers. The show also featured the "NXT" in-ring return of Asuka. "Dynamite," on the other hand, only drew 609,000 total viewers, though, like WWE, the show was stacked, with the in-ring debut of Adam Copeland against Luchasaurus.

There was also a title change as Saraya lost the AEW Women's title to Hikaru Shida, with the Japanese star becoming the first three-time AEW Women's Champion.
