WWE Reportedly Moving Forward With Superstars Of Tomorrow Series — Details

WWE applied to trademark "WWE Superstars of Tomorrow" earlier this year, and it appears that the Stamford, Connecticut-based promotion is now putting that filing to use. According to the Sports Business Journal, a "Superstars of Tomorrow" docuseries is in the works. It's said that the show will follow participants in WWE's NIL program. "Superstars of Tomorrow" is set to broadcast after a Bianca Belair and Montez Ford reality series has aired on Hulu.

Chris Kaiser, EVP of WWE television, told the SBJ, "What we ultimately want to do here at WWE is tell compelling stories that our fans will love, but we also want to tell stories that, if you're not a WWE fan, you will also love. We want to super-serve our fans as always, because we do have that built-in universe, but we also want other people to discover us and come back."

WWE's NIL (Next In Line) program began in 2021. The NIL program provides a pathway for collegiate athletes to break into WWE. Individuals under the NIL program have access to several resources, including the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Current NIL participants include Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson, who recently appeared on "WWE NXT" programming; basketball players and twin sisters Hanna and Haley Cavinder; and former college football player Joe Spivak, who performs on "NXT" as Tank Ledger. WWE added 15 new collegiate athletes to its NIL program earlier this year.
