TNA's Nic Nemeth Discusses Promotion's Relationship With WWE's NXT

TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth is bullish about the ongoing relationship between TNA Wrestling and WWE and explained how it not only benefits the promotions but the wrestlers as well.

Nemeth, in a recent appearance on "Under The Ring," believes that the deal has been struck only because both parties are going to benefit from it.

"The hugest part is just, one, if it wasn't beneficial for both companies there would not be a deal. Clearly it is and it's working and it's catching on and clicking and everyone's talking about it. And then every Tuesday and every Thursday, you don't know who's going to show up from one of the other companies and be on the show. So, it's almost must-see," said the former Dolph Ziggler.

The TNA star added that the tribalism that is present between fans of rival promotions doesn't exist between wrestlers of various companies. He added that wrestlers are friendly with each other regardless of the promotion they are in. He explained that the TNA Wrestling-WWE collaboration has helped wrestlers jump around between promotions and get better contracts.

"We all have really good friends and just because of the boom time, because of all the companies being so successful at the same time, it's great for just possibly, like, negotiating a contract, deciding where you want to go, not having to go like I got to stay in this company for the next five years because I'm stuck. You can bounce around, you can use the other companies, and you can just go. This is a fantastic time for professional wrestling, no matter what the case is," said Nemeth.

Nemeth emphasized how modern wrestlers can do it all, be it in the ring or on the mic, calling them "renaissance" men and women. The TNA World Champion, who had a long stint with WWE, has yet to appear on "WWE NXT" after signing with TNA Wrestling.
