Report: Widow Of Late WWE HOFer Hulk Hogan Considering Medical Malpractice Lawsuit
WWE legend Hulk Hogan's widow, Sky Daily, is set to take legal action over medical malpractice that she claims caused her late husband's death.
Hogan passed away due to a cardiac arrest on July 24, and it has now emerged that his phrenic nerve was damaged during his neck operation, something Daily believes "definitely" caused his death.
"We are investigating for possible malpractice. If you have shortness of breath for a long time, that makes you very sick. It's not something that's an alarming (sudden) cause of death. It's something that wears on you, makes you weak," she said to "Daily Mail." "It's not like in the movies where you snap your fingertips. It's very time-consuming to call, sending in records requests, get approvals, send in the death certificate to get information. We're currently in the investigatory process for possible malpractice."
Daily revealed that Hogan's body will be cremated once the medical investigation is complete. The alleged medical malpractice was discovered by an occupational therapist who was at Hogan's home when he died. Daily further added in the interview that they learnt about the nerve damage when Hogan was alive and stated that it didn't happen after the surgery. She also dismissed suggestions that Hogan's personal physician had drugged him. Daily is optimistic that the facts will be revealed once the investigation is completed.
"I know the truth will come out, so I'm sitting back here politely being, like, everything's being well documented. I know it's fine. But I'm trying to be respectful of the police department because the police department has been very respectful and very thorough," she said.
Daily also revealed that Hogan's daughter, Brooke — who has questioned the story surrounding her father's death — has spoken to her, and that Brooke viewed her father's body at the funeral home.
