UFC Fight Night 270: Evloev Vs. Murphy Live Results

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s live coverage of UFC Fight Night 270, headlined by Movsar Evloev versus Lerone Murphy at the O2 Arena in London, England. 

Evloev looks to extend his 19-0 record against his similarly unbeaten opponent in Murphy at featherweight, though Murphy will enjoy the added benefit – or pressure – that comes with returning to his home nation. Likewise, Luke Riley will be representing England against USA's Michael Aswell Jr. in featherweight action. 

Michael "Venom" Page and Sam Patterson clash in an all-English welterweight bout, preceded by the only fight not to feature an Englishman: Poland's Iwo Baraniewski against USA's Austen Lane at heavyweight. 

Prior to that, Christian Leroy Duncan of England will take on Georgia's Roman Dolidze at middleweight, and Kurtis Campbell will face USA's Danny Silva at featherweight. 

The event will be available to those in the US via Paramount+ and internationally for those using UFC Fight Pass and TNT Sports. The main card is scheduled to begin at 4 PM ET.

Kurtis Campbell vs. Danny Silva - Featherweight Three Rounds

Round one begins and Kurtis Campbell starts to establish the range with kicks pushing Danny Silva back. Silva begins to pressure Campbell, prompting him to go for the legs and get the takedown. Campbell starts rolling Silva around on the mat and against the cage, clinging to the back and looking for the choke. 

Silva rolls out and winds up on top, Campbell finds his way to his feet, and they resume the stand up. Silva sweeps Campbell's leading leg with a calf kick, but Campbell responds by kicking the body and going for the takedown. Silva defends it well. 

Campbell goes for another takedown attempt, but Silva continues to defend it against the cage and manages to switch the momentum for himself. The two continue to wrestle on the floor, though Silva gets some hammerfists in. 

Silva continues to pressure Campbell against the cage with body shots as the round comes to an end. 

Round two begins with Campbell searching Silva with jabs, but Silva responds with a right to drop him to the floor. Campbell tries to get back to his feet but Silva begins raining on him, and he is caught with another solid right dropping him to the mat. The referee steps in and the fight is over.

Roman Dolidze vs. Christian Leroy Duncan - Middleweight Three Rounds

Round one begins with Christian Leroy Duncan kicking at the legs of Roman Dolidze. Dolidze grabs the leg during one of those kicks and brings Duncan down against the cage. 

They find their way back to their feet and Duncan has Dolidze wobbled, continues to apply the pressure and finally drops Dolidze. Duncan goes for a spinning headkick that slaps glove before face. Dolidze half-heartedly goes for a spinning elbow. The round ends after Dolidze spends a spell on the floor and goes for an overhand. 

Round two begins and Dolidze throws a kick to the head that catches nothing but air, Duncan puts Dolidze on the floor again. Duncan starts throwing kicks to the leading leg. Dolidze responds with a flurry to little effect. Dolidze attempts to catch Duncan with back elbows in exchanges. 

Dolidze has Duncan tied up against the cage, but the exchange is broken by an attempted elbow from Duncan. Duncan continues to pepper Dolidze with shots and he goes to ground again. Dolidze clinches Duncan and pushes him up against the cage again, but Duncan switches as the round ends. 

Duncan is warned as round three starts that if he pokes the eye again he will lose a point. 

Dolidze gives Duncan something to consider with a back elbow to the chin. Duncan is keeping the distance with long jabs and kicks to the lower half. Duncan continues to flurry against Dolidze who goes to ground again and this time gets the advantage over Duncan. Dolidze is clung to the back of Duncan, looking for the body triangle. 

Dolidze has sustained two minutes of ground control in this round. Duncan is trying to throw shots behind him to get Dolidze off his back. The fight ends with Dolidze in the same body triangle.

Iwo Baraniewski vs. Austen Lane - Light Heavyweight Three Rounds

Round one begins and after a little bit of range-finding, Iwo Baraniewski ducks a punch and fires off an overhand to Austen Lane, pushing his head into the direction of a left hook to drop him to the floor. He continues to rain shots down on Lane as the referee comes between them to signal the end of the fight, in just 30 seconds.

Michael Venom Page vs. Sam Patterson - Welterweight Three Rounds

Round one begins and MVP is pushing Sam Patterson against the cage early. The Octagon belongs to MVP as Patterson continues to dance around him looking for an opening. Patterson connects with a solid one-two as MVP maintains his loose stance, but MVP resumes feinting and jabbing. 

MVP feints two high kicks and sticks a kick to the inside calf. Four minutes has passed and the crowd is starting to boo the reluctance between the two. MVP wakes them up a little bit with a quick flurry, but Patterson rolls with it and doesn't seem too phased as the round comes to an end. 

Round two begins and MVP continues to make the Octagon his as he comes across and clips Patterson with a left. MVP connects with a solid right overhand. Patterson closes the distance and goes in for the clinch against the cage, looking to work MVP with knees to the thigh. MVP slips out of it and the stand-up resumes. 

MVP shakes his head as Patterson his an outside calf kick. MVP feints a bicycle kick as he closes the distance for a jab again. Patterson catches an overhand to the face as he tries to close the distance, and he tries for the takedown as MVP goes against the cage for the round to end. 

Round three begins and both are a lot more aggressive than the past two rounds, looking for several shots to no avail. Patterson is now pressuring MVP, looking for the takedown again by the cage. MVP and Patterson wrestling against the cage, the latter really looking to get this takedown. 

MVP breaks the grapple and tries to fight again but Patterson goes for the clinch again. The referee separates them. 

Patterson swings and misses with a headkick. Patterson goes for a one-two but MVP slips him to send him face-first into the cage. MVP catches Patterson with another solid right hand but Patterson closes the distance, has MVP up against the cage as the ten-second clapper goes. But the round and the fight ends with the pair in the clinch.

Luke Riley vs. Michael Aswell Jr. - Featherweight Three Rounds

Round one begins and Michael Aswell Jr. closes the distance, Luke Riley happy to let him pressure him as he remains planted against the cage.

Aswell hits a solid shot and continues to work the body, alternating as he comes in close and cinches in a clinch against the cage. The clinch is broken and Riley starts to throw jabs, but Aswell comes back again Riley pulls him into a clinch again. 

Riley and Aswell start to trade, Aswell pushes Riley back and clinches. But Riley hits him twice across the jaw after breaking it. Riley turning up the tempo as he continues to find the mark. Riley opens up and Aswell returns a single shot against the jaw, and Riley swings and misses with an overhand. Round one ends with Riley throwing jabs upstairs. 

Round two begins with Riley jabbing and Aswell throwing a loose combo to no avail. Riley checks Aswell with a one-two, but Aswell moves his head with the shots. Riley goes for a leg kick as Aswell charges forward, causing Riley to slip and Aswell seizing on him against the cage. 

Their stand-up exchange continues with Riley and Aswell both finding the mark but showing no real danger. The next exchange once again sees both chins tested but they walk through it. Riley rocks Aswell with a right counter-hook, but gets a receipt of his own when he looks to follow up. Round ends just after Riley rocks Aswell with a right hook. 

Round three begins and Riley continues to use the jab to keep Aswell at bay. Aswell is coming forward through punches and clinches Riley against the cage. The clinch is broken and Riley continues to jab away, Aswell trying rather desperately to close the distance but only falling into a clinch. 

Riley settles into a rhythm to great effect, hitting body shots and immediately switching to hook the jaw. Aswell attempts a guillotine takedown, gets it, but Riley manages to get back up. Riley continues to tag Aswell with the left hook but gets a right overhand in return, and Aswell goes into the clinch again. 

Riley throws a front kick to the body and follows up with a right straight to the face. Riley has more than doubled the significant strikes of Aswell this round, and he continues to land heavy strikes as the round and fight comes to an end.

Movsar Evloev vs. Lerone Murphy - Featherweight Five Rounds

Round one begins and the pair spend the first minute feeling one another out. 

Movsar Evloev tries for a big overhand but gets nothing from it, and Lerone Murphy pushes him back with the threat of a kick. Evloev front kicks Murphy and send him back into the cage, and delivers a left kick to the gut. Murphy tries to come forward but gets another front kick to the body. 

Round one comes to an end with Evloev trying a cheeky spinning backfist. 

Round two begins with Murphy fighting on the outside, swerving away from Evloev and attempting sweeping punches. Evloev goes for a kick, Murphy catches the leg and sends him to the ground but he recovers. They trade overhands to rock one another. 

Murphy gets another accurate right straight to the face of Evloev, but Evloev continues to close the distance and go for the overhand. Murphy hits a swift three-punch combo to the body and face, though the third punch catches more glove than face. 

Murphy is getting the better of exchanges, with Evloev looking to find the jaw only to get kicks to the body, legs, and follow-up punches to the head as the round comes to an end. 

Round three begins and Evloev is closing the distance before Murphy gets the better of the stand-up exchange. Murphy throws a left kick but Evloev catches it and gets the immediate takedown. But Murphy manages to get out of it. 

Evloev continues to come forward but the referee calls official time out after he kicks below Murphy's belt. The fight resumes and Murphy hits a spinning wheel kick to the head of Evloev. 

Evloev keeps trying to come forward only to get stinging body kicks and left straights for his troubles. Evloev lands a solid right hand to the chin of Murphy and has him wobbled for the first time, but the round comes to an end before he can find a finish. 

Murphy is cut open on his brow.

Round four begins and another official time out has to be called after Evloev kicks Murphy square on the cup. Murphy is down for 40 seconds, but by a minute and two he is ready to go. Fight resumes after a minute and a half, and Evloev has a point taken away. 

Evloev comes forward, Murphy catches him with a great counter but Evloev just continues to come forward. Murphy is dropped but quickly recovers. Evloev continues to come forward with jabs and straights to the head, even as Murphy looks for space at length. 

Evloev shoots and gets a takedown with the waist control, and as Murphy tries to get back rolls him back down to the mat. Murphy gets back up against the cage as Evloev maintains the waist control. The stand-up resumes and Murphy fires another right kick to the body. 

Evloev continues to come forward, and as Murphy goes for a kick, he kicks the other leg to drop him to the floor. Evloev has the waist control again, but the stand-up resumes as the round comes to an end. 

Round five begins and Evloev sees a calf kick responded with an overhand. Evloev tries a spinning backfist again after seeing a kick caught. He continues to come forward and gets the takedown in the middle of the cage. Murphy rolls and looks for the kneebar, but Evloev returns to control over Murphy and continues to leather him with shots in the process. 

Murphy gets up to the cheer of the crowd but continues to be taken down by Evloev. Murphy looks shattered. But the stand-up resumes. 

Murphy is trading quantity for quality with Evloev as he lands two significant strikes to a flurry from his opponent. Evloev still continues to come forward and gets the takedown after Murphy goes for a spinning attack. Evloev wrestles Murphy back down to the ground. 

The stand-up looks to resume but there is no time left and the bout comes to an end. 

Movsar Evloev def. Lerone Murphy via Majority Decision (48-46; 48-46; 47-47)

Evloev says UFC has no excuse not to give him a shot at Alexander Volkanovski's Featherweight Championship, and to help his case a graphic shows he is second only to Islam Makhachev in terms of active win streaks. 

Murphy apologizes to the crowd for letting them down, continues to say that Evloev deserves his title shot, and he will be back in the future.
