Major Update On Dani Luna's TNA Status

English wrestler Dani Luna has reportedly asked for her release from TNA Wrestling and has been granted it by the promotion.

Luna, who joined the promotion in 2023, sought her release over the weekend, which the company granted, making her a free agent, as per "Fightful Select." The report further added that Luna and TNA have a good relationship and that both sides parted on good terms.

The 27-year-old star joined TNA a year after her release from WWE, having been a part of the TKO-owned promotion from 2019 to 2022 as part of the "NXT UK" show. In her time with TNA, Luna won the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team titles on two occasions, both alongside Jody Threat, and both title reigns came in 2024. After Luna and Threat had to part ways after they lost a tag team title match, Luna has competed as a singles star and recently even had a shot at the Knockouts title when she and Lei Ying Lee faced against champion Arianna Grace, who retained her title at TNA Sacrifice last month.

Luna, who missed TNA's AMC debut earlier in the year due to visa issues, has competed in indie promotions in Europe and the UK over the last few months, aside from wrestling in TNA.
