Blake Monroe On Aborted WWE SmackDown In-Ring Debut: 'I'm World Championship Material'

It wasn't a glamorous in-ring debut on Blake Monroe's behalf on "WWE SmackDown" Friday. Scheduled to face the former two-time WWE Women's United States Champion Giulia, Monroe blindsided her opponent and left her lying in the center of the ring before the bell even rang.

Though she didn't think she had to defend her vain debut, Monroe did so anyway, and had this to say about it: "That's not my debut. I didn't wait for months getting called up to 'SmackDown,' and I didn't wait nine years to make it to the WWE to have my debut like that. I'm world championship material." She then demanded that WWE officials find the current WWE Women's Champion Chelsea Green, and bring the champion to her. Then, she'll showcase her more appealing side. Until then, she wants nothing to do with anything or anyone else.

Last week, the on-screen "SmackDown" General Manager Nick Aldis informed Monroe that she would make her in-ring debut this week. However, during their discussion, Monroe made it very clear that her debut should be for a shot at the Women's Championship, to which Aldis disagreed, and said she was not prepared for yet. Instead, she was greeted by Giulia, who personally welcomed Monroe to the blue brand after being on the suffering end of her brutal attacks.

The former NXT Women's North American Champion made her "SmackDown" debut on the June 26 edition of "Smackdown," attacking Giulia from behind after her match against Kiana James.
