WWE HOFer Stone Cold Steve Austin Shows Off Aftermath Of Off-Road Racing Wipeout

WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has kept busy since his retirement from in-ring competition, taking up off-road racing and often speaking about his love of high-performance Kawasaki UTVs. He recently even won his class at the Night Vision 250. Austin revealed on social media early Sunday morning, however, that he recently wiped out on a track in a mistake that cost him a race.

Austin took his "Broken Skull Racing" Instagram to share photos of the aftermath, as well as the update that both he and his co-driver are okay. The car, he said, took some damage, but the star and his racing team are already working to get it back in shape for the next race.

"We put the car back together good enough to drive back to main pit on the back roads," Austin wrote about the aftermath of the wreck. "This has been a great season of racing and the H2 is a helluva car. We set out to finish every race. And my mistake cost us a finish. I have learned many things from it that I will take into future races."

The first photo he shared shows "Stone Cold" posing next to the off-road vehicle, aptly numbered 316, laying on its side. The other photos show off the car in all its glory on the track, seemingly before the mistake that took Austin and his co-driver out of the competition. In the post, Austin also thanked the Valley Off Road Racing Association and its recovery team for the assist.
