Chelsea Green has revealed that she was keen to be in a hair-versus-hair match and lose the match — and her hair.

Green, who has gone the extra mile to make wrestling mean more, recently stated in an appearance on "Insight" that she had pitched to face Nikki Bella in a hair-versus-hair match at WrestleMania 41 and WrestleMania 42, but it didn't come to fruition.

"I'm so serious that I pitched it for both WrestleMania in Vegas versus Nikki Bella. I'll lose, I'll shave my head," she said. "Yeah, I already have a husband. I'm not, like, dating with a shaved head. I have a huge forehead. I would look like a peanut. But my husband loves me, and he also was like, 'Yeah, do it. Whatever. That'd be so cool.'"

When Van Vliet suggested a hair-versus-hair match for the WWE Women's Championship that she holds would make for a great storyline, she was a bit hesitant. She stated that it would've made sense when she was the Women's US Champion, with a stipulation like that potentially elevating the title.

"I think I would, but I so badly wanted to make the US title something special. I don't know that I was able to do that in my two reigns, but I think had I been able to have that feud with Nikki and shave my head, I think it would have cemented the US title as something that wasn't underneath this title. I really wanted people to enter the Rumble and when they win, possibly challenge the US title holder, not just the big daddy of it all [the women's world title]. Like, why can't the IC and the US title be a part of that conversation?" she asked.

She doesn't think the title she holds needs a match like that to grow its prestige, as it will be defended on most PLEs and that many stars will be vying for it. Bella and Green never had their match at 'Mania, with their only singles clash coming last year on "WWE Raw," which was won by Bella.
