WWE Hall of Famer Fred "Typhoon" Ottman, one half of the Natural Disasters has been hospitalized.

Ottman posted a reel on his Facebook page from his hospital bed on Friday. He was originally sent to the emergency room before being admitted to the hospital on Thursday night. Ottman was apologetic for not being able to attend the SWFL Super Card Show in Fort Myers, Florida this weekend. He didn't reveal why he was admitted to the hospital, but was waiting to speak to the doctor. "But I love you all and keep me in your thoughts and prayers and hopefully I'll be seeing you soon."

Ottman was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2025 alongside the family of the late John "Earthquake" Tenta, his Natural Disasters tag team partner. They held the tag titles in 1992. Ottman is also known to wrestling fans as Tugboat and The Shockmaster. The Shockmaster had an infamous debut at Clash of Champions XXIV in 1993. As he was making an entrance, he tripped and fell through a wall which sent his glitter-covered mask briefly flying off. Ottman still jokes about the iconic moment today. Cody Rhodes has also weighed in about his then uncle's Shockmaster debut and the involvement of his father, Dusty Rhodes.
