AEW's Kyle Fletcher Explains Why He Opted Against Pink International Title

While he might not have gold around his waist at the time of writing, 2026 has been quite the year for Kyle Fletcher. "The Protostar" has held the AEW TNT Championship, he's been one third of the AEW World Trios Champions alongside Mark Davis and Kazuchika Okada, and he was the AEW International Champion until AEW All In London 2026 where the aforementioned Kazuchika Okada took the title from him. 

The TNT Championship belt has been personalized multiple times since it was introduced in 2020 to fit the character of whoever is holding it, and during his first reign, Fletcher had a pink title. However, he decided not to edit the current International Championship belt, and during a recent appearance on "Under The Mat" with Simon Miller, Fletcher explained that it was simply to annoy the people who made him edit the TNT Championship in the first place. 

"I feel like last time I gave into the masses," Fletcher said. "The masses wanted the pink title and this time everyone was like 'We want it again' and I was like 'F*** you motherf****** I don't want to do that.'" Just to mess with people even more, Fletcher admitted that if the fans wanted the International Championship to be left alone, he would actually be more motivated to make it pink.

Despite losing his title at Wembley Stadium, Fletcher has bounced back with a pair of tag team victories alongside Kevin Knight, most recently defeating The Young Bucks in a tables match on the Rebel Heart edition of "AEW Dynamite." However, tensions are still building within The Don Callis Family, especially between Fletcher and Okada as they both believe they are the true AEW International Champion.
