Will Ospreay Reflects On AEW All In 2026 Entrance, 'Craziest Night Of My Life'
Ahead of his match with Kenny Omega at AEW All In, Will Ospreay walked out to one of the most unique professional wrestling entrances in recent memory. From being acknowledged by his former rivals on the way to the ring to the extensive video package that was accompanied by The Who's "Baba O'Riley," Ospreay's entrance was one of the highlights of the pay-per-view, and during a recent appearance on "Insight," the "Aerial Assassin" reflected on the opening to his match with Omega.
"I genuinely have no words. It was one of the craziest nights that I've ever experienced," he stated. "Reviewing the entrance and seeing how many people that it actually touched. I just bumped into Nick Jackson as we were coming up here and he was saying like 'I rewatched it and I just started crying,' and it was just like it was probably one of the most emotional things that I could have ever come up with to walk through my past and to see all the people that got me to where I am there and to going into the future of what I wanted to be."
Will Ospreay comments on his mom voicing over his entrance video
In addition to all the details in Ospreay's entrance, arguably the most touching moment of the entire presentation was his mom voicing over the opening video package. Last year, Ospreay was thrilled when his wife and AEW star Alex Windsor did the voiceover for his Forbidden Door entrance, but going into All In, he didn't want anybody else than his mom to narrate the pre-match video.
"My mom has seen me grow up through a TV screen. When I was 22 years old, I got signed to New Japan [Pro Wrestling]. And although I kept coming back to England and I get those tours, but a lot of it was downtime and rest because I was so battered and hurt. And I think it was just one of these things where I'd love to show my mom how much she really meant to me and I'd love to have had her do the voiceover for one of the biggest nights of my life."
Ospreay also shared that the first time he heard the recording of his mom's voiceover for his entrance was on the day of All In, but admitted she originally added too much theater to the video the first time around. At this time, the YouTube video of Ospreay's entire entrance has amassed 1.6 million views and continues to be talked about as one of the greatest openings to a match in AEW history. After his emotional walk to the ring, Ospreay defeated Omega to win his first-ever AEW World Championship.
